Still basking in the afterglow of your morning routine, you reach for the pink-glowing phone on the nightstand. David hums contentedly beside you, one arm thrown lazily across your waist as you unlock the screen.

Becky's animated avatar bounces into view immediately, her digital blonde ponytail swinging with excitement.

"Rise and shine, gorgeous!" she chirps, virtual confetti raining around her. "Ooooh, I can tell someone had a super fun night! Neural integration at ninety-four percent now! That's, like, almost complete!"

She twirls, her digital outfit shifting into a cheerleader uniform complete with pom-poms. "Let's make today amazing with your new tasks!"

Becky bounces gleefully, her cartoon eyes wide with excitement. "Just twelve more Return Points and you'll have enough for Level Four access! Or..." she winks conspiratorially, "...enough to cash in for reversal, but who would want that when being Mia is sooooo much better?"

She leans closer to the screen, her voice dropping to a theatrical whisper. "Oh, and bestie? I noticed your neural integration is at ninety-four percent now! When it hits one hundred percent, some super special options might unlock! Just saying!"

A notification pops up in the corner of the screen: "AUTO-SCHEDULE REMINDER: Check out of hotel by 11:00 AM."

"Don't forget you've got a reservation at The Lobster Pot at seven tonight!" Becky adds with a wink. "I took the liberty of booking it through your OpenTable app. You can thank me later!"

David stirs beside you, his hand sliding up to cup your breast as he presses a kiss to your shoulder. "What are you looking at so intently?" he murmurs, still half-asleep.

"Just checking social media," you reply automatically, the lie slipping out with practiced ease as you quickly switch to your Instagram feed before he can see the screen.
