RealityMix Vending Machine

The RealityMix machine is a dark, mysterious entity that deals in (and feeds on) transformation. It appears as an impossibly tall, solid black vending machine covered in glowing buttons. It bears a brand name of "RealityMix" and a brief paragraph of instructions.

Pick up to three flavors to mix together and enjoy! The first taste is free! Subsequent transformations require... trade.

Below that is smaller warning text, difficult to read and often purposefully obscured by the RealityMix machine by first appearing in dark areas.

Side effects may include but are not limited to: altered physiology, modified memories (yours and others), changed documentation, altered living situations, and heightened biological drives. Transformation is communicable by bodily fluids. Effects cannot be reversed, only added through additional flavors.

The face side of the machine is covered in an impossible number of rectangular buttons, each with their flavor printed on it. The buttons shift constantly, although individual flavors can be found consistently when searched for. Every flavor has a name combining their effect with their taste, and can be separated into several categories by a keen observer.

Species - These flavors cause species shift, by default to an anthropomorphic version of the animal chosen. Examples include "Foxy Fizz," "Avian Apple," "Kitten Cola," and "Butterfly Tea." Further inspection finds even more exotic and mythological options, such as "Unicorn Syrup," "Angelic Ambrosia," "Succubus Strawberry," and even some stranger options like "Fursuit Fruit Punch" and "Living Cake Cocktail"

Aesthetics - These flavors shift the drinker's aesthetic and identity, altering their appearance, possessions, and personalities to match. Sometimes these flavors do not have a full personality adjustment. Examples include "Femboy Fizz," "Gothic Grapefruit," "Maid Margarita," and "Bimbo Blue Raspberry."

Traits - These add additional traits to the drinker's body, enhancing their form in more focused ways. Examples include "Mega Milk Tea," "Tipsy Tonic," and "Hair-trigger Hibiscus." These tend to be physical traits but can also be minor personality and mannerism shifts.

As the RealityMix machine states, the bodily fluids of a transformed person are a vector of transmission. Humans that ingest or absorb these fluids will begin to transform into the same combination of effects as the person who produced that fluid. Breastmilk and semen are the most potent, but any fluid will begin a transformation if enough is ingested. Some transformations even modify the effectiveness of other fluids or add new vectors. While the initial transformation from the machine itself begins instantly and takes a few minutes to complete, these secondary "infections" can take several hours to begin and most of the day to finish. These timelines can be variable depending on the transformation and by the whims of the RealityMix.

The drinker usually retains their memories of their old life alongside those of their new form, and the transformations of others. Again it depends on the machine, but people transformed by contaminated fluids tend to forget they have ever been anything other than their new form, although in some worlds the reality shift doesn't occur until after the transformation is complete.

The trade that the machine mentions varies depending on its own desires, but typically takes the form of either providing transformative bodily fluids or bringing an unchanged human to receive their own mix. Either way the person who completes this trade gains another run at the machine to add to, modify, or possibly revert their form.

In some worlds the machine is only visible to one person, in others it will draw in several to spread many transformation forms throughout a city, and in yet others it appears all across the world to start outbreaks across the globe.
