Anakin and Obi-Wan looking for a way out.

Anakin approached the next corner with caution, slowly peering out from behind it to ensure the coast was clear. No signs of movement, nobody standing the in hall, all clear. He gestured back for Obi Wan to move up, and his former master did with a careful stride.

It had been almost an hour since they escaped and still this place seemed even more massive than it had looked on the outside. They had gone down several halls now, all of them seeming empty, but still it just seemed there were more and more hallways and doorways to go. Anakin did the mental pathing, wondering if maybe they were going in a circle, but they weren’t. They had taken some slight turns but for the most part the halls they followed were going in a straight line. How big was this place really? Was this some kind of trick?

“Why do I get the feeling we’re going in circles?” Obi Wan whispered to Anakin.

“Don’t look at me, we’ve been going as straight as we can for at least a kilometer by now. This place just doesn’t seem to end.” Anakin responded in his own whispered but evidently frustrated voice.

“We may have to consider the possibility…” Obi Wan began.

“The possibility of what? That this place runs on forever? We haven’t seen anything we’ve seen before so it’s not like the place loops…” Anakin interrupted, approaching another hall corner to repeat his examination once more. But this time, they weren’t alone.

Down the hall, he saw a single cloaked figure making their way down the halls. They seemed to be passing by each room, glancing inside for a moment, before moving on to the next. Were they looking for Anakin and Obi Wan?

“We’ve got one, seems to be searching for us.” Anakin reported to Obi Wan behind the corner of the hallway.

“One shouldn’t be hard to avoid, but it seems odd this is the first one of these cultists we’ve seen in a while…” Obi Wan commented in return. However, Anakin had other ideas.

“If she’s by herself, we should subdue her and interrogate her.” Anakin stated with blunt intent, Obi Wan perked up a brow.

“That’s a rather risky approach, Anakin. She could be setting a trap for us.” Obi Wan objected to Anakins plan.

“True, but you’re the one that taught me that sometimes it’s better to spring on a trap on your own terms. Besides, we’re getting nowhere on our own.” Anakin replied, keeping an eye on the cloaked figure. He couldn’t afford to lose her, but time was running out…

“It’s your call Anakin, I’ll follow your lead.” Obi Wan said, planting a reassuring hand on Anakins shoulder. Anakin nodded, and looked down the hall as he thought of what to do…
