(Subplot) Curious little Froggy

Lexie was enjoying the cuddling with the chatting couple but something was off. Her animal instincts felt like she was being watched and her sense of smell was telling her something or someone was there. The scent was familiar but still not one she was used to. She peered at the open doorway trying to focus but saw nothing. Her sense of hearing could hear the floorboards creaking as if someone was walking out of the room.

“Croooak…” Lexie said as she hopped away from Barbie.

“Where you going? Potty break?” Barbie asked.

“Ribbit!” is all she said as she made her way out of the room. She definitely moved a lot slower with each hop but she followed the footsteps and scent down the hall. Followed it into the room of Laura and Olivia who were cuddled together on a bed, followed it into Mel’s empty room, followed it into Chantelle’s room who was also quietly typing away on her phone and lastly returning to Tania’s room. Her room was just as empty as the curious little froggy was unsure why the scent ended here. She was about to leave when she saw the glasses floating in the air and magically placed in the air.

Lexie couldn’t believe it! Tania was invisible and she had been spying on the glitches! Lexie tried to hop away but was caught rather easily. “Seems like I couldn’t fool the meddling little froggy.” Tania quickly closed her door and kept the frogs mouth shut. “Seems like we need to remove you for the time being, Lexie. You are just too perceptive…” Lexie was trying to free herself but truly Tania had a strong grip and there was nowhere to escape to.

“Ribbit…” Lexie said but was muffled.

“I really should be thanking you, Lexie. You got me to meet Rebecca and she even gave me some magic to try out,” Tania said reaching her hand into her invisible bag and holding up a bottle. “Oh this is perfect! Let’s make you a froggy statue…”

She poured the liquid into a nearby bowl and proceeded to slowly submerge Lexie. Lexie was feeling her legs getting heavier and unable to move. Quickly have of her body was heavy as stone and unable to get away. Lexie gave a defiant look as Tania savored her victory to completely turning her into a little stone statue.

“Now you won’t meddle anymore~Let’s go find a nice home to stick you,” as she carefully removed her the potion. “I like you so much better this way…”
