Chapter 278
by
The Other Guy
Try and get them to sort this out, or just lay back and enjoy the benefits or their spat?
You've been try to help everyone else relationship why stop now?
"Ok what's wrong you two?" You sit up as you ask, pulling both of their head away from your crotch.
"Ask him." Delilah complained crossing their arms.
"I am serving my Sir," Edin said proudly, "you're the one getting in the way." He mumbled crawling up to hug your shoulder.
Delilah watched him then copied his position, resting her head on your shoulder. "You've had him for weeks, we only just got him." Delilah said around you glaring at him.
"He's had me for longer so you shouldn't be getting in our way." Edin said moving from your shoulder to your chest to get his head closer to hers. "And you're not even a noble, Ana told me you're just some staff member."
You look at Eve and see her take over for a moment before Delilah's less stern more pouty expression took back control. "I've been at his side since we were kids, he's never cared about me not being noble."
"They why did I get to take his cock before you?" Edin said leaning back looking very proud of himself. "If you were a noble like me he'd have actually been interesting in you rather than giving you a pity fuck."
"Edin." You say sternly but before you can say anything else Delilah jumps off your side and into him, tackling him off the bed.
"Get off!" Edin shouts as Delilah and he wrestle on the ground. There weren't any punches so much as trying to get on top. Something Edin had a significant disadvantage in being both smaller and weaker.
"Hey that's enough."
"Not until he say sorry." Eve said as Edin face is pressed into the ground with them sitting on his lower back.
"Get off!" Edin shouts again as a blinding light flashes from his back. It makes you look away and blink to clear your vision. When you look back Edin had managed to get out from under Delilah and was trying to get behind her.
"Say sorry." Delilah says grabbing Edin with ease and pushing him onto the ground. They jump onto his hips holding his hands against the ground over his head. "Say it!"
Edin stops moving entirely, his aura doesn't. The frustration, anger and pride that had been covering him was gone, "N-no please." He mumbled softly. His aura had a familiar slithering, whenever he relived whatever Lady Ketersen had done to him.
"Are you hard?" Delilah asks lifting her hips off Edin and the slithering takes over entirely, suffusing every part of his aura.
You jump off the bed and pull Delilah off him. "Edin, it's ok," you lift him up and wrap your arms around him, "you're fine, you're here with me." You coo into his ear as he starts shivering pulling his knees up to his chest.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Eve said kneeling next to you but not touching Edin. A look of understanding was on her face. "That's over now, don't think about it, it's done you're out of it." This must be a rather upsetting reminder of her own suppressed trauma.
"I-I, I can't," Edin blubbered into your shoulder. "Please don't let her, I'm sorry." He threw his arms around you clawing at your back desperately trying to get you closer to him.
"It's ok Princess, you're mine, you'll never be hers again." You squeeze him against you.
He stops crying but it's responsive. "What do you like most about the Capital?" Eve asked out of no where.
After a long pause Edin answers. "The-the clothes." He stutters out as the shivering dies down.
"Would you be able to show us the best place to get clothes? We only have one colour." She flashes him a smile as he looks up at her from your neck.
"A-Ana always takes, maybe you could come." Edin's breathing was getting back to normal.
Eve's experience with trauma had apparently given her some skills at distracting from it. "I think we can all go, maybe even get you something pretty to wear for me." You say supporting the distraction. "Would you like that?"
"Y-yes Sir." Edin said relaxing fully into you. "Sorry Sir." He says kissing your shoulder. "I shouldn't have let anything stop me from servicing you." He shifts in your arms but you don't let him.
"Edin wait." He's trying to suppress again and at this point you know that isn't going to work. You can't have him keep breaking down it'll destroy him. You take a deep breath letting him feel your chest rise and fall. You've been told more than a few times to not ask or to leave this alone but confronting trauma is what he needs to do. On the other hand you are not a psychologist and have no idea how to help him work through this. The only person who you'd believe would know how to help would be Clare, she's told you she knows people surely experience with this sort of thing would help. You could have Delilah fetch from, hopefully, the dinning hall or Anastasia's estate and just be with him for now.
Authors note: let me know if you want the next week to be laid out as normal regarding the few chapters each day or just a summary like the last week until Friday. It will be a few chapters before then so everyone should have time to get a say.
Also regarding Edin, it will be heavy if Christopher does this himself and less so if Clare helps, let me know which one you are more comfortable with.
Should you ask about his trauma or send Delilah away?

Reborn into Calitian
You are reborn into another world of magic and fantasy. How you live is your choice, the consequences are as well.
The world of Calitian is a world of magic whose sentient inhabitants vary from human to decidedly not. You are rather unexpectedly reborn into this world however you do not get the expected god delivered spiel about said rebirth so you are on your own. This should be interesting.
