The Akkadian knew his and Naerwyn's situation was serious. The whore's guild was scarcely the most feared guild in Al Areth, but under the rule of the Tyrant each of the guilds had the right to administer their own justice in guild concerns. Both he and Naerwyn were undoubtably guilty of falsely claiming to be members of the whore's guild. Both were equally guilty of attempting to **** a customer of the guild.

"You have been summoned before us so we can get to the truth behind the events at the warlord Trimon's compound." The guildmistress said gravely to start the proceedings. "Kindly recount the facts as we know them Sonoma."

One of the whore's council rose to her feet. Tall and ebony skinned with tightly curled hair dyed bright purple, the whore looked to be in her early twenties. Her breasts were smaller than was usually the Akkadian's taste, but she had the longest hardened nipples he had ever seen, each pierced by a thick golden ring.

"Yesterday the guild received a request from the warlord Trimon for his favourite whore Minaja." The whore recited. "Minaja accepted the assignment and set out to Trimon's compound. Around nightfall she entered the compound, and several of Trimon's guards have attested that she was alone. Some time later Trimon was seen to leave his compound, several witnesses describe him as looking bewitched. Shortly after that the dead bodies of four guards were discovered, three in Trimon's bedchamber and one hidden elsewhere in the building."

The council of whores clearly all knew these facts, none looked either surprised or shocked by the tale. It occurred to the Akkadian, that no living witness had actually seen Naerwyn inside Trimon's hold. The thief could claim to know nothing of the killings.

"Minaja did not exit the compound by the gate, though a search by Trimon's men confirmed she was no longer in the compound." The dark skinned whore continued. "According to information that came to light this morning she was next seen entering the Mariner's flagon in the early hours of the morning in the company of a redhead woman. She was also seen in her company this morning and followed to the bookshop of Rechmon."

"I find it unbelievable that Minaja would be capable of slaying one warrior let alone four experianced warriors." The guildmistress commented. "What explanation do you have of these events Minaja, and who is this woman and what role did she play in these murders?"
