Carmen, Jackie's best friend and bridesmaid

Jackie gasped as the orb hit the ground breaking into multiple pieces "Oh no!" she exclaimed.

It was Carmen, Jackie's best friend and one of her bridesmaids who had opened the door. The door had bumped into Jackie's hand and consequently caused the orb to fall and shatter "Oh! I'm so sorry! What was it? Can it be fixed?" She immediately bent down and picked up the largest piece which resembled a bowl with jagged edges.

"I doubt it" you replied then knelt down to begin to clean up. You couldn't leave the glass slivers on the carpet. The bridal party were about to use this room to get changed. You didn't want anyone getting cut. You picked up a couple of the largest pieces then looked around for some sort of container to put them in.

"Use this" suggested Carmen, holding out the 'bowl'. "I'll go and find a rubbish bin"

You placed the two pieces into the 'bowl' then went to take it off Carmen. Momentarily you felt dizzy. When your head cleared, your perspective had changed. You were now standing but bent over. A man kneeling on the floor was pulling the shattered 'bowl' from you.

This wasn't right! Why were you suddenly standing? Why did your fingernails have red polish on them? You let the man take the bowl and stood up. You looked at Jackie. She seemed to be herself, perhaps just slightly shocked that the orb was broken. You looked at the man again. He was now looking straight at you with a very shocked look on his face. It was a face you well and truly recognised! You screamed!
