Makoto nodded.

"Sounds like a plan," said Ren. "But what about Ann?"

"She's staying the night," Makoto said.

"Bwak?" Ann cawed.

"You know how Sis has a car trigger now?" Makoto whispered to Ren. "Watch this. Ann, the lawn needs water."

Ann, still in her maid uniform, stood up and began doing the same sprinkler motions Futaba had, but unlike Futaba, who had been making standard sprinkler noises...
