What is your choice mage?
Crush the lock | Spell Cost
Guess you did just get that new spell of your's, wouldn't hurt to give alittle whirl. Planting your staff into ground, you hold it with your left hand, as you raise your right. Staring at your own palm, you begin to mutter a strange tongue as your hand begins to glow a blinding white. As if your very own soul was just leaving your body, a phantom image of your right hand begins to form right infront of you. As you active your spell of choice [Phantom Grasp]
Commanding the hand to move foward, you have the ghostly appendage begin to wrap it's fingers around the large lock. You can feel the cold metal surface of rust, as the begin to squeeze the lock. At first, you struggle to make any progress with it, as your hand was simply too small to properly grip the whole thing. With some extra focus, you command the phantom hand to grow larger in size, allowing you really squeeze down on the aging lock. Slowly you begin to make progresss, as you can feel the metal of the lock begin to stress, and bend underneath your grasp. Soon enough, you feel the mighty lock collpase inside your hand, before letting it crumble on the stone floor underneath.
Great! The chest is unlock, time to claim your reward. As you begin to step foward to do so, you can feel a strange sensation coming from your nearly acquired cap, as the golden stars on it begin to glow. You can sense a new danger appear. Luckily, or unluckily for you, it's right infront of you.
As you glance away for a moment to observe your surroundings, you can hear the very chest you unlock begin to violently shake in place. As the chest seemly begins to break itself apart, sprouting arms and legs, as the opening snaps open with sharp teeth shooting out, and a long tongue begins to slithering out. You didn't open up any old chest, you freed a monster, a minic stands ready to fight.
