Does it budge?
Yes
I felt a tiny give. Then another shift. Finally, the whole window moved away, opening a gap just large enough for me to slip into the room. I clambered down and dropped as quietly as I could the few meters to the floor of the room. Just as I got my footing, I heard footsteps near the open door behind me. There was a small gap between the last row of shelving units and the wall right next to where I was standing, so I slid myself in. With just enough room to turn around, I shuffled until I could just barely see the nearest part of the room.
A shadow moved as someone walked into the room, and I could hear a soft feminine voice humming a tune. Without a better angle, I had no idea who it was, but I could be pretty sure it was just one woman. I thought through my options, and finally decided.
