Chapter 2

What's next?
Levi Strong, a Perverted Highschool Senior. (3rd Person, Goofy Sci-Fi)
When Levi began to stir awake, the first thing he noticed was how much his head ached.
His eyes opened, taking time to adjust to the lighting of his hospital room.
The second thing he noticed was a doctor standing over him and holding a clipboard.
He was looking directly at Levi, who was too weak to do anything but stare back at him.
The doctor was middle-aged, tall, built sturdy, bald, and he had a thick, golden-blonde beard.
“You’re awake.” He said, his voice coarse and emotionless. “It’s about time.”
Levi couldn’t do much aside from groan and try to sit up, but the muscles in his limbs were weakened from all the medication he was likely on.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t try that.” The doctor said, scratching his beard. “You’ve suffered some pretty severe head trauma, and you’re not on any pain meds.”
Levi groaned again, but it sounded like one of confusion.
“Long story, but the hospital ran out.” He shrugged. “You’ll be fine, just don’t go back to sleep for a while.”
Levi groaned, exasperated and pained.
“Anyway, you were in a car accident. T-Boned by a drunk driver. They’re not doing so hot, either.”
Levi sat there for a moment in silence to take that all in, then remembered that he wasn’t alone in the car.
He groaned, trying to ask if the person he was with was okay, but to no avail.
Thankfully, it appeared that the doctor got the hint.
Who was the other occupant?
The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
