First a bit of chatting

Ren approached Makoto, who was still staring blankly ahead.

"Makoto, can you hear me?" He asked. She didn't reply. Her eyes didn't even move to look at him. She just stared ahead.

"Hey. Makoto?" He questioned, waving his hand in front of her face, before clapping right in front of her eyes. She didn't even flinch.

"Makoto! Are you okay? Answer me!" He boomed.

"I am okay..." She droned. Ren breathed a sigh of relief before finally realizing what had happened. He took away her free will. She wouldn't even speak unless she was explicitly told to. She wouldn't do ANYTHING unless she was told to, but she also wouldn't question anything he said.
