Too much thought

“I can tell you are still thinking but this could be a thing we could do occasionally. You give me a question to ask and then you won't get to know which option she picks until you go to sleep later that night” you suggested, seeing Emma get even more excited at the prospect while barely being able to keep herself sitting still on the couch.

“Don’t say that! It makes it even harder to think of anything… This is harder than it looks okay?!” Emma replied, making you smile as she took this more seriously than anything else she had done recently.

She even looked more serious about this than any of the exams you had been taking at school, finding this to be much more important when it came to your life going forward.

“It’s fine, we have the time at the moment… Or would you rather talk about something else…” you added, the smirk growing rapidly on your face as the joke was too good to resist.

Emma didn’t even reply but the couch cushion that was launched at your face in record time was enough for you to know her answer.

You let some time pass without interrupting her, feeling like anything you said was going to get another piece of furniture thrown in your direction.

“Urgghhh fine I give up. Just, don’t blame me if I’m distracted tonight as this will be all I can think about” she said, deciding to take a break and come back to this another time.

“I think we are both gonna be distracted to be honest so let’s just call it even” you teased, having already put a lot of emphasis on tonight going well.

After already discussing everything about Izzy while Grace was there and Mom’s level up after that you still had some concerns with the warnings the KDK had given you.

“I know we said it would likely need testing before we do anything too drastic with the KDK and I know that everything so far has said we can at least somewhat trust the KDK, especially with these warnings trying to protect us. It’s just that… I’d like to try and aim for something if you are willing to attempt it” you suggested, waiting for Emma before you continued.

“You know I trust you and I don’t think you would do anything too out of left field knowing you. But at least let me know what it is first” she teased, likely trusting you even if you didn’t explain yourself.

“Thanks… I’d like to rush getting you to level 5” you stated, getting quickly to the point.

“Ooooh Yes! I’d love that!” Emma excitedly agreed, her face lighting up for what felt like the tenth time today before she **** herself to calm down.

“... I should ask why though” she added, collecting herself as if she didn’t want to ask and do the rational thing.

“We know there’s at least some significance to it. The profiles for everyone stop at 5 and with the warnings already at level 4, I’m thinking there's something important that's waiting. Even if it’s just an additional reward from an achievement or a boost in XP and that's it. It will at least tell us some information instead of just having it as an open question. Not that you are a test dummy or anything, but you are currently the only person who can consent to trying it… There’s Sarah but…” you continued to explain.

“You know she would love to be used as a test dummy” Emma currently assumed, her thoughts mirroring your own.

“Exactly. I’m not saying you need to agree now,even though you just agreed... But I at least wanted to discuss it as it’s going to happen one way or another as we spend time together. And taking control of when it happens feels a lot safer than it randomly happening one day” you said, getting a nod from Emma.

“You really want me distracted tonight don’t you” Emma smirked, the topics having been heavy for the past while.

“I know, sorry. It just feels like one of those nights to talk about stuff like this” you replied, tonight having been set up for changes to be made.

So far you have been taking things as they came when the KDK was involved. You weren’t planning on finding out where it came from or how it had come into your possession. A part of you still feared it being ripped from your hands and your life going back to how it had been before, but given the warnings it had been giving you while you remained passive, you felt like it was safe to start experimenting a little more than you had been.

The very first warning it had given you was that you shouldn’t mess around in public too much, otherwise it wouldn’t be able to help you, but everything else seemed fair game and as long as you didn’t want to harm any of your subjects, you felt it wise to find your limits.

If only to take control of where your own boundaries lay and not the KDK’s.

“Well I’m up for trying. No extra time needed to think” Emma accepted, reaching out to hold your hand, the seconds ticking up on the KDK in the background of your mind. “Plus… I’m sure we can have a lot of fun along the way” she added, leaning in to kiss you.

You could never refuse an offer like that when it came from her, and you let the kiss continue, even letting Emma push you down onto the sofa.

It was hard to think about anything else as she straddled your waist, keeping you loosely pinned to the sofa as she stayed on top, the intensity increasing as she leaned down to make out with you.

The well thought out plans left your brain and you let hands move from where they now rested on her waist, and her tank top was easy to get your hands under for you to move up her body.

You were certain that things were going to escalate but the doorbell ringing made you both pause.

Your lips parted and you stared at one another.

“You ready for tonight to start?” Emma asked, sitting up straight on your lap, her hands on your chest to steady herself.

“Nope. But I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.” You replied, getting ready to get up.

You couldn’t help but look up at her and your eyes darted to her chest almost involuntarily, the tank top quickly becoming your favourite thing of hers that she wore.

Noticing your eyes, Emma moved your hands out from under her top and placed them directly over her tits, her top and bra still in the way but it was certainly an upgrade from where your hands had rested before.

“How about now?” she smirked, squeezing your hands with her own so you could cop a feel.

“Okay. Now I’m as ready as I can be”.
