Getting Ready For The Upcoming Party

When Patrick and Sasha walked into school, they saw that Mallory was passing out invitations to all of their friends and some of the other students that were in school. They walked up to her and smiled when they saw that it was the invitation for the Halloween party on Saturday.

“Hey guys. Have you picked who you are going to be for the party? It is a superhero themed party.” Mallory said.

“We have some things set up. We are not sure yet though.” Patrick said.

“I can understand that. I need to coordinate with Ben as well.” Mallory said.

“Any ideas on who the two of you might be?” Sasha asked.

“I think Ben is going to be Superman, so it would probably be good for me to be Lois Lane.” Mallory said.

“That’s interesting. You could also go as Wonder Woman.” Patrick said.

“I think Laura has that taken.” Mallory said.

“She does have the body for it.” Patrick said.

“Yeah. I can admit to that.” Sasha said.

“Well, give me some hints on what you are thinking for costumes.” Mallory said.

“Okay. One option is for Patrick to go as Green Arrow and Kelly will go as Black Canary and I will go as White Canary.” Sasha said.

“That sounds fun. So, I plan on inviting Debbie and Sue. Do you think they will coordinate with you three or go a different way?” Mallory asked.

“I think one of them could pull off Speedy and the other, maybe Helena Bertinelli.” Patrick said.

“Those would be perfect for them.” Mallory said.

“Yeah. Which way do you think they would pick, Patrick?” Sasha asked.

“I don’t know. Being that Sue is younger, she fits the Speedy role, but I could see Debbie pulling her off as well.” Patrick said.

“That is a tough decision.” Mallory said.

“So, are you guys talking about the upcoming Halloween party?” A new voice said as she walked up to them and they turned to see Lexy standing there.

“Yep. Do you have any idea who you are going to be yet?” Mallory asked.

“I have. I am going to go as Supergirl and I think Lanie is going to go as Iris West, since I heard that Chase is going as the Flash.” Lexy said.

“As a normal Supergirl or a sex one?” Sasha asked, knowing what her friend would do.

“Sexy, of course. I am single so why not try to get a guy while looking sexy doing it?” Lexy asked with a shrug.

“Good point. We heard that Laura is going to be Wonder Woman. Have you heard from anyone else?” Patrick said.

“I heard that Christine is going as a sexy Catwoman. Big surprise there. I also heard that Kate is going as Zatanna and Sebrina is going as Powergirl.” Lexy said.

“All of those work well for them as well. Have you heard anything about Chad, Kirk, Billy and Greg?” Mallory asked.

“I think I heard that Greg is going as Batman as he is going to the party with Christine. I think Kirk might be going as Constantine and Chad might be going as Aquaman. Billy I think is going as Green Lantern. At least that is what I heard up until this point.

“What about Sabel?” Sasha asked.

“I think she might be going as Hawkgirl.” Lexy said.

“That makes sense. So, are you going with anyone to the party?” Patrick asked Lexy.

“Nope, I figure I can go by myself and have a good time with everyone.” Lexy said.

“That’s true. We have all of our single guys in our group, plus some of the others that are not in our group that are coming as well.” Mallory said.

“So, plenty of options then.” Lexy said with a smile.

“Yep. plenty of options for single people.” Sasha said.

“Is Sam coming to the party?” Lexy asked Sasha.

“I’m not sure yet. She needs to get out, so I could probably talk her into it.” Sasha said.

“Who do you think she would go as?” Mallory asked.

“Artemis Crock might be good for her?” Sasha said with a shrug.

“You think she would be willing to show off that much skin. Sure, it isn’t her private areas or anything like that, but I don’t think I have ever seen her show off her stomach before. She even wears one-piece swimsuits.” Patrick said.

“I think I can talk her into it. She needs to let loose a little bit anyway.” Sasha said.

“By the way, Dad said that he is going to go over to your house and spend the night, Patrick. He said that he didn’t want to be around all of the noise. Mom didn’t want to leave the house to us kids though, so she is going to be there to keep an eye on things. She will most likely invite Aunt Josie and Aunt Sherri as well.” Mallory said.

“I have no problem with that. All of our moms are fun to hang out with.” Patrick said.

“Yeah. I’m fine with it too.” Sasha said.

“Do you think your mom would mind if my mom came? I think she would have fun with the three of the other moms. Plus, she has been really busy lately and she needs to do something fun.” Lexy said.

“I don’t think mom would have a problem with that. They were good friends when they were younger anyway.” Mallory said.

“I think if our moms dressed up as well, my mom could be Mera.” Sasha said.

“Oh, that is a good one.” Lexy said.

“Patrick, I think Aunt Josie should be Isis.” Mallory said.

“Yep. I think she would look good as Isis.” Lexy said.

“Well, I think Aunt Marsha should be Phantom Lady.” Patrick said and the girls nodded in agreement.

“That would definitely look hot on Aunt Marsha.” Lexy said.

“What about your mom?” Sasha asked Lexy.

“I think she could be Dream Girl. She always wants to look sexy and Dream Girl wears a leotard that shows off her body.” Lexy said.

“Damn, that would be hot.” Patrick said.

“Well, it looks like everyone in our core group has things ready to go. I am sure there will be duplicate costumes for some of the people at the party, but that can’t be helped.” Mallory said.

“That’s true. The main thing is that everyone has fun.” Sasha said.

“Yep. I am really looking forward to it.” Lexy said.

“I do have a question that I was going to ask before we got all side tracked by what everyone else was going to wear. Why are you not Black Canary, Sasha?” Mallory asked.

“Because Kelly looks so much like the girl that plays Black Canary in Arrow that I just knew that she had to be Black Canary.” Sasha said.

“Damn, you’re right. They could be each other’s doppelgangers.” Lexy said.

“Now that you say that I understand. They do look a lot alike.” Mallory said.

“I know this might sound weird, but sometimes when Kelly and I are having sex, I pretend that she is that actress and it makes me wonder if the actress is as much of a freak as Kelly is in the bed.” Patrick said, chuckling to himself and the girls couldn’t help but laugh.

“That is either really perverted or really hot and I can’t decide which.” Lexy said, still laughing.

“I think it is hot.” Sasha said and Mallory nodded in agreement.

The bell finally rang to signal to the students that their first class was about to begin, so they all made their way to their first class as they didn’t want to be late. The rest of the day, a lot of their friends that were not in their core group came up to them saying that they would be at the party and saying who they planned on being. It was surprising that most of the people that weren’t in their core group actually picked Marvel characters, which ended up working out really well as there weren’t many duplicates, if there were any at all.

Some of the usual ones that they expected to come were Jenny Sutherland, who was coming as Carol Danver/ Captain Marvel and Emily Morales, who was coming as Electra. They had some others talk to them as well.

It looked like everything was shaping up for the party. Now all that all of the teens had to do was wait for what was probably going to be a long week so that they could have fun roleplaying as their favorite characters in the comics or tv shows. It was definitely going to be fun and they couldn’t wait for the time to come for them all to have their final Halloween party before going off to college.
