“What are you going to do with Xiao Mei?” Nadia said. Red. Tense.

“Calm down… If she is harmless then nothing,” Katherine said.

“If not?” Nadia said.

“What do you mean if not? I’m sorry but she can’t exist if not…” Katherine sighed, “You need to trust me…”

A flash of black. Nadia pulled out her pistol. SIG Sauer. Katherine raised an eyebrow.

The door rattled. Creaked. Xiao Mei ran at the door at full speed – breaking it open. A splinter cutting her cheek.

“Nadia!” Xiao Mei said, “We need to get outta here!”

Katherine was still. Calm. Nadia looked at her. She was no different to the Volkov. She was a mafia boss after all.

Xiao Mei stood watching. Nadia aiming a gun at the pregnant woman. This is some real shit…
