ALICE Ch 286

It’s the night before the race.

Alice Wilde lies in bed, gazing at the photos from today’s shoot on her phone. They are incredible. The most talked-about and memed image is a zoomed-in crop of Coach Riley’s head with Ingrid’s massive bust resting on it. Alice can’t tell if she’s awake or dreaming, but she wonders if it’s wrong to jerk off looking at photos of her old coach.

“Look! Look! Look!” Kylie points excitedly at the phone, pinching to zoom. Lora spills a little wine as she scoots closer on the bed. “There they are.”

It’s a photo that Ferrari has posted to its feed just now. Aria and Bianca are in the background. Aria looks cool as hell in her jumpsuit, while Bianca is radiant in a dress and heels. Aria holds a camera while Bianca has a clipboard.

They gaze in silence for a moment. Kylie plucks at her undershirt, then nudges Lora with her elbow. “Heard from her?”

“From Aria?” Lora takes a nervous drink and nods. “She texted me about tomorrow night.”

Kylie’s mouth drops open, but she says nothing. Irked, she swipes away from her feed and opens her texts.

“What are you doing?” Lora asks.

“If she won’t text me, I’ll text her. I’ll jump from a bridge if you have a date and I don’t.”

“I haven’t replied yet.”

Kylie looks at her as though she’s turned green. “Do it then, dipstick.”

“Don’t rush me. And it isn’t a date. It’s only a drink before the flight.”

Kylie’s thumbs fly over her keypad. “This can’t be happening.”

“It was embarrassing,” Ingrid murmurs, not sounding particularly distressed. She’s facedown on her bed.

Julieta makes an encouraging noise as she straightens the towel over Ingrid’s lower half. She straddles the Swedish woman and resumes rubbing her shoulders.

“Difficult for Riley as well, I am sure,” Ingrid adds.

“Yes.”

“Did you enjoy the shoot?”

“Yes.”

“Mmm.” Ingrid sighs and hugs the pillow as Julieta works her way down. Ingrid braces herself; the tasks of a pit crew are hard on her lower back, and she has not been an athlete for some time. She groans into the pillow.

“Yes,” Julieta says, pulling the towel down further to concentrate on the small of Ingrid’s back.

“Oh.” Ingrid grunts at the sharp pain from Julieta’s tiny fingers. “Lotte seems different.”

“Yes.”

“And Adella is more attractive, I think. With age.” Ingrid grimaces as Julieta’s thumbs probe the sensitive spot in her lower back, where the pain is when she bends.

“Yes,” Julieta says.

There are plenty of hot guys and plenty of hot girls. The Red Bull Energy Station is the hottest night spot in the paddock.

Sun and Riley have a table up top in the open air. A big, white moon shines down on them.

“If I wasn’t so embarrassed, this would be truly delightful,” Riley muses, watching the bubbles in her glass.

“I like it. Exertion is intense. Sensual. It makes everything feel more real, somehow,” Sun replies.

Both women are dressed for the evening in bold party dresses. What’s the point of going to work in glamorous F1 if they can’t have fun?

“Isn’t she taking a while?” Sun asks. She means Adella.

“Probably signing someone’s tits,” Riley says with a sigh.

Sun faces the glass rail and returns a wave from someone down in the paddock.

Riley looks at her with amusement. “I was surprised. I don’t think I’ve ever been daring one when I’m out with you.”

Sun wears a short, cute little strapless thing in a shimmery gray. Riley’s strappy black dress exposes her sides and doesn’t hide much at all.

“Do you have underwear on?” Sun asks.

“What? Of course,” Riley replies.

“Then you’re not the daring one tonight.”

“Are you flashing everybody down there? Don’t get us arrested,” Riley warns.

“Wouldn’t dream of it.” Sun smiles and makes a peace sign as someone below snaps a picture.
