Rest of the day

Mark was again late to class. He didn’t have time to shower to sat away from people in the back of the lecture hall reeking of sex. He texted Winter to let her know he was planning on talking to Tiffany later that evening then tried his best to not have a post sex nap in class.

After class he crushed some food then went to football practice where he had an absolutely brutal two hours of drills and sprint training.

When the rest of the team left Bryce and the offensive coach made him stay behind and quizzed him on plays and running routes. He was so behind compared to the rest of the team and had only the loosest understanding of the play names.

Finally Bryce and the coach relented and Mark was able to head to the locker room to shower. He felt like a new person standing under the hot water rinsing layer of sweat, mud, and the remnants of his afternoon fuck off him.

From the other end of the curtain he heard Bryce saying “flex zone double stack 22”

Mark thought for a moment, washing the last of the shampoo out of his hair, “fake pass, handoff and I run left”.

Mark shut off the water and stepped out of the stall with a towel around his waist. Bruce said “not bad Rodgers. Everyone thinks college football is just being a freak athlete and getting to party and fuck whoever you want, but everyone on this team is putting in work to be here. It’s good to see that you are trying to step up and do the same.”

“Thanks, you’re trusting me and I don’t want to let you down.” Mark replied.

“You’re gonna help get us some wins this year Mark, I can feel it. Then you’ll get the reap the rewards all the other kids at this school dream about.”

He left and Mark put on his close. Checking his phone he saw a message from Tiffany saying to text when he was done and that she’d meet him in front of the practice field.
