Wind down preparations

Mom still seemed **** to meet your eye as she felt some embarrassment but that faded pretty quickly once you were no longer on your knees and were talking to her face to face. A quick kiss however made her eyes widen as she tasted herself on your lips and you continued the conversation as if you hadn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary.

“As much as I want to stay here, I know we both have things to do before people turn up” you said, the little time you now had left starting to make you anxious.

You couldn’t help but press your head against hers for a brief time, letting a moment pass before you pulled back just so you could feel the connection with her once again and attempt to lessen your fears.

“We do... Just think of it as Emma and Grace coming over as usual. It’s just one extra person and you don’t have to worry” Mom replied, seeing your worries on your face and doing her best to reassure you.

One of the timers Mom had set went off just after she spoke as if to stop you from disagreeing and Mom gave you a quick pat on the shoulder to urge you to let her move. You let her pass without attempting to stop her but there was some urge in you to still keep her for yourself.

You knew she would likely be the one panicking if she wasn’t trying to be the one protecting you, so you did your best to calm down and put up a stronger front for her while moving to the kitchen door.

“You’re right, I’m sure it will all work out. Oh and Mom?” you announced, getting her to turn in your direction just as you were about to leave.

“Hmm?” she responded, her attention turning away from the food.

“You aren’t getting these back until the night ends” you replied, briefly showing her her panties that you had pocketed before you made your quick exit.

“...Hey! Max!” she shouted after you, taking a moment to realise what you were saying before she tried to convince you otherwise.

You were already down the hallway and heading towards the stairs before you could hear any more and you didn’t plan on giving them back even if she did catch up.

On the way, you briefly poked your head into the living room to see that Lucy was no longer there, probably having the same idea as you and going upstairs to get changed.

That assumption looked to be correct as you could hear the shower running as you reached the landing, deciding to go over to Mom’s room so you could use the shower in there instead.

With nobody joining you, it didn’t take long for you to freshen up and dry yourself off. You were in and out before Lucy had finished whatever she was doing in the main bathroom, which let you stroll over to your room with your clothes from today in your arms while wearing nothing else.

You had placed your phone on top of the pile and rested that down onto your bed when you made it to your room. As you pulled out what clothes you were going to wear tonight, you decided to wear something a bit smarter than your usual t-shirt and jeans. Nothing too fancy, just adding a check shirt over a plain white tee and then some pants that seemed to go along with it, giving yourself a look over in your mirror to make sure it looked good.

It felt smart enough to you and given that Mom had put in the extra effort to dress herself, minus the panties you had taken, you knew you had to dress up too.

You hadn’t heard from Sarah yet since you last left school but you assumed she was also getting ready, the door to her room still closed without any signs of her having left her room yet.

With the outfit sorted and everyone else in the house occupied as you thought about each of them, that just left you fidgeting with your collar and nothing left to do except wait. That didn’t do much for your nervousness, but you **** yourself to sit down on your bed to try and calm yourself.

As you sat there, trying to think of anything but tonight, Your phone buzzed and you looked over to see a notification from Emma to say that she had sent you a text.

You thanked her in your mind for the much needed distraction but that wasn’t the only thing now listed on your main screen, both notifications showing up one after the other.

First, Emma’s text:

Emma: Did you happen to spend any time with your Mom? It’s been on my…

Before the rest got cut off, only seeing the first sentence from the main screen prompt.

And then:

In your worry about how tonight would go, it had slipped your mind that Mom had been close to her level up. Emma however seemed to have been thinking about it all day and you were just as curious as her now that you knew that the KDK had updated, knowing that there was only one likely reason as to why there was a new change.

You wasted no time after that, opening your phone to view the details on her profile.

You felt the urge to view her effects right away but you paused for a moment, taking the time to go to your messaging and let Emma know before you did anything else.

Emma: Did you happen to spend any time with your Mom? It’s been on my mind all day and I can’t wait to see what changes. Me and my Mom will be around in about 30 minutes if that’s okay?

Max: I did spend enough time with her. Checking it now. And you are fine to come round then :)

The message was brief but you made sure to answer so she had an actual response, rushing back to Mom’s profile so you could view what the new level 4 effects were going to be.
