“What is going on?” Elise asked.

“She is going after Master,” I screamed.

“What! No way!” Elise followed me.

“Fire Lance!” I shouted as I threw it, I couldn’t risk missing or her blocking, so I aimed for the roof about ten paces in front of her, causing it to collapse.

She did stop and turned to look at me. “That idol is really powerful isn’t it?”

“Yes, but my loyalty isn’t just because of it.”

“So what are we going to do?” she asked.

Elise jumped at her, but Hannah caught her easily and slammed her into the ground. I was tempted to launch my lance then but it would have gotten Elise hurt too.

“You could leave, you know I can’t follow you,” I said.

“I am a shadow of the **** maiden. You ask me to leave her grand daughter here?” she asked.

“Fine, take Brenda. But leave,” I shouted.

“Your my friend Rosemary,” she said. “I don’t plan to leave you either.”

“I want to stay!” I screamed. “I don’t want you to ruin this for me!”

Hannah simply stomped the ground and the section of stone she was on collapsed a floor. Damn it! She was already gone. I had **** but to slowly climb down and chase after her. I was done to my last spell. I didn’t even know where the Master was. I saw her run south, so that was at least a clue.

I was out of breath though and it happened. I fell to my knees. I recognized the feeling. I could think a bit clearer. The spell had been broken. I just sat their crying, struggling to hold onto the feeling. But it was fading. Hannah won, she “saved us.”

The charmed castle was no more.
