Unexpected surprises

Mike comes back to his dad's house reluctantly, his step-mother is a constant pain in the ass. But he can't really stay for the summer on the campus.

Parking the car in front of the house, he takes his luggage and goes to the door, his keys in hand. The front yard didn't change much, well maintained by Barbara, the step-mother, it's really cozy. Which makes you almost forget about her devilish nature. Mike opens the door and enter, only to almost get hit by a frying pan.

"You're the one insane to enter someone's house unannounced!" Barbara shouts back.

The middle-aged woman stands in front of him wearing a lot of makeup just to look a few years younger, her hair dyed blonde.

"I told you I would come back today for the summer!"

"I never heard of that, your dad probably has forgotten to tell me. If you're coming, I hope you'll pay rent."

"Why would I pay rent? It's my house!"

"Your sister pays rent, it would be unfair if you didn't."

"She's working! I'm studying! And she's my step-sister!"

"Were is dad?"

One step into the house, and it's already war.

"I'm going to my room, we'll see with dad when he comes home!"

Mike takes his luggage and goes upstairs, already quite pissed. Passing in front of Jenny's bedroom, he hears. "The prodigal son is back!" On a sarcastic tone. He just ignores her, the daughter takes a lot from her mom. But the bad surprises continue as he opens the door of his bedroom to find his bed behind sports tools.

"Yeah, mom is using your bedroom as a gym." Jenny tells him, having followed him, probably to see his reaction.

"I see..."

Mike ignores his step-sister again and get inside before closing the door. This will be a long few weeks...

Taking his computer to change his mind on YouTube, he finds the Tit for tat website working again.
