Greg was a mess. She had never seen him like this… Nadia always took good care of her husband… Nurturing him like a mother did to her child. Pressing his clothes. Kissing him off to work with a packed lunch.

She noticed McDonalds and KFC wrappers on the table and floor. Discarded without any thought.

“Nadia I’m so sorry…” he held her.

Greg… Her Greg… My baby… Hubby… She began to cry…

“Greg, I need to tell you something…” Nadia said, trembling.

“Tell me something?” He echoed, but he knew already.

“I—I slept with Mark,” she cried.

Greg stepped back. Slept. With. Mark.

“You did what?” He whispered. His face, hollow. This wasn’t how it was supposed to feel.

“I did—“ she said, looking guilty, her cheeks wet with tears.

“Did you do it for me? To cuck me?” Greg said. Hoping this was all part of the game.

Nadia stepped back in disbelief, “Greg— I should have never entertained your gross fantasy… It’s messed me up and I can’t go back now…”

“What do you mean? We can go back! I can stop! I’ll go to therapy! We’ll go to couples therapy! Yes! And everything will be alright…” Greg said desperately grasping for her hand, but she was disgusted.

She didn’t see a handsome smart little man anymore. Now she saw a pathetic greasy pig with a small penis. A punchable face. Ugly.

“No?” He echoed. That word. He never thought he’d hear it from Nadia. Rejection…

Nadia stepped back as he came close to her feet.

Greg hurried after her, snot dripping and tears, but she got into a Taxi. Her expression, heartbroken, and then the door closed.
