Next Shoplifter!
Miss Townsend And The Trial Of Josh Milton
Josh Milton was being represented by Lorne Tyler, the union representative at his store hearing into his misconduct with one Hilary Townsend, who was sitting beside her attorney Michael Glass. He was charged with basically **** Miss Townsend in exchange off ‘keeping quiet over
charges of criminal shoplifting and theft under one thousand.
I have always told the guys to use their discretion over who to charge and who to ‘persuade’ to accept terms to stay quiet. Christ, I felt really bad for Josh, after all he didn’t do anything that I haven’t done over the years. And I had to say I felt like a total piece of shit about turning over the hidden camera footage of the incident in question. But it was either do that or face charges of my own, so in my eyes it was him or me and I knew that I would save my ass every time when given a choice!
“Well lady and gentleman I call this hearing in progress and I feel we can save the opening statement and get right down to the video footage in evidence. All in favor raise their hands!”
Three of the four sitting behind tables raised their hands, Only Miss Townsend’s hand remained down. She spoke up, “Sir, is it necessary to show what he did to me?”
“I’m afraid that Mr. Milton is given the same courtesy here that he would get in a courtroom, so unless you plan to dismiss your case Miss, the video must be shown!”
Hilary tried her best to hide her face as the video started with a shot of her sitting in the office of Loss prevention.
The judge asked Josh. “So Mr. Milton, is it customary to leave a person suspected of theft, alone in a locked office?”
Josh just stared at the judge, “Yes Sir!”
“Okay why don’t you tell us what we’ll see next Mr. Milton”
