Chapter 4

But How?
By Hela
A cold, steady rain fell over New York, as if the sky itself were weeping over its hero's demise. Peter Parker, Spider-Man, was no longer the kind savior of the neighborhood. His kind eyes were now cold and lifeless, and his quick, humorous movements had given way to **** and cruelty. Hela, the Asgardian goddess of ****, had cast her ominous shadow over his soul.
This domination began with a call, a cold, bone-chilling call on a dark night. Peter, returning home from a grueling battle with a mortal enemy, heard a voice in his mind. A powerful, seductive voice that promised power and freedom from pain. In a moment of weakness and exhaustion, Peter involuntarily opened the doors of his mind to this intrusion.
Hela, seeking to expand her influence in Midgard, saw Spider-Man as a valuable pawn. His power and popularity could act as a powerful psychological weapon, sowing fear and chaos in the hearts of the people of New York.
Gradually, a change in Peter's behavior became apparent. His jokes became bitter and biting, his treatment of Mary Jane became cold and indifferent, and his usual sense of responsibility faded. He no longer returned her friendly calls and spent most of his time in solitude.
The first signs of Hela's control were evident in Spider-Man's actions on the streets. Petty theft, violent behavior towards captured criminals, and disregard for people's pleas for help all indicated that something was seriously wrong.
When Spider-Man attacked a bank and brutally wounded the guards, the alarm bells rang for the other heroes. The Avengers gathered to investigate this new threat. Captain America looked doubtfully at the familiar face of Spider-Man, a face now devoid of any emotion.
The battle began, a painful and unequal one. The heroes tried to stop him without harming Peter, but his strength and agility under Hela's control were far greater than before. Her webs were no longer used to save, but to trap and harm.
Hela spoke through Peter, a cold, mocking voice that echoed in the heroes' ears: "Behold your beloved hero! He is now a servant of ****."
Mary Jane, heartbroken, tried to reach Peter, to make her voice heard, but Hela had created a mental barrier between them. Mary Jane's tears were streaming down her face as she cried out helplessly, "Peter, it's not you! Please!"
Deep inside Peter, a flicker of consciousness still flickered. He felt the shadows of what his body was doing, and he suffered. His cries for help echoed in his mind, but he was trapped, like a puppet whose strings were in the hands of an evil ****.
The battle reached its climax. Thor, enraged by this insult to a hero, dealt Spider-Man a series of blows, but Hela, with her magical powers, shielded him. Suddenly, Spider-Man charged at Mary Jane with incredible speed.
At that critical moment, Peter regained control for a moment. A muffled voice escaped his lips: "Go... Mary..."
This brief moment was enough for Captain America to find a chance and deliver a powerful blow to Spider-Man with his shield. Peter fell to the ground, a black, trembling aura emanating from his body. Hela, who had lost control, screamed in rage and disappeared.
Peter was ****. When he came to, his eyes were filled with tears and shame. He recalled vague memories of the terrible deeds he had committed. He had a long way to go before he could regain the trust he had lost and fight the sinister shadow of Hela that weighed heavily on his soul. New York had reclaimed its hero, but a deep scar remained on his soul and the city's memories. The night of Hela's domination was a night that showed that even the brightest heroes could fall victim to darkness.
