Velvet Vixen admits to liking the peril but states that she dislikes Madam Mirage
Velvet Vixen’s tiny voice rings out, her jaw clenched, arms crossed over her miniaturized chest, cheeks still red with tension.
“Fine. I like the thrill. But I don’t like you.”
Madame Mirage freezes mid-twirl of her wand, her expression shifting into a theatrical mask of mock heartbreak.
“Oh! Stabbed!” she gasps, placing a hand dramatically over her chest. “Right in the ego!”
She slowly lowers herself until she’s eye-level again, smirking down at her prize like a cat toying with a mouse who just bit back.
“But you’re fiery, I’ll give you that. A little sparkplug.”
She twirls Velvet Vixen in her fingers once for fun, then sets her gently back on the glass tabletop with a sigh of exaggerated disappointment.
“Well, if you’re going to bruise my feelings, the least you can do is indulge me with another question.”
She rests her chin in one palm again, wand tapping idly at the edge of the table.
“Let’s see what other little truths I can pull out of your pretty little head…”
