Austere Blonde Hair → Elegant Black-Hair Ponytail

While pondering this, I make a change I'm confident is purely aesthetic and replace her 'austere blonde hair' with an 'elegant black-haired ponytail.'

A curtain appears to the right and the bedframe recovers its padding as Lilian begins to change.

For a start, she turns slightly away and brings her hands out from behind her back to clasp in front of her. Her hair is pulled up into a ponytail as it turns from gold to black until the only traces of yellow left in it are the little leafs of whatever band is wrapped about the base of her ponytail, which falls until it disappears behind her forward shoulder.

At this point, her uniform acquires proper armor. The padded cloth - or whatever it is - turns into a shiny dark-gray breastplate with brass-gold lining, beneath which is a panel of similarly colored scales, and then a final layer that goes on to meet a cardinal-red skirt. Somehow, she's kept the red/black pattern on her undercoat, and her eyes have stayed amber.

I think she's looking like a proper knightess now, but I'm still not sure whether to press forward or stop now...
