They find the Blizzardverns easily enough!

"...why do the dangerous beasts always have to have such... ominous lairs?" Lisanna questioned, looking into the cave they had been directed to. It was a couple hours later, and the farmers had been all too happy to point them in the right direction.

"Wyverns and their subspecies do like to hole up in caves like this," Natsu shrugged. "It's not exactly surprising you know."

"Still... you wanna go first, Master?" Lucy asked. "I might essentially be immortal, but that doesn't mean getting eviscerated is high on my to do list..."

Natsu blinked at Lucy. "You're immortal now?" he questioned.

She giggled. "Pretty much, yeah. Genies are not easy to permanently kill. I'll just reconstitute myself in the lamp should I suffer fatal injury... doesn't mean I won't feel it though," she added.

"...you going to be a scaredy-cat too?" Natsu smirked at Happy, not having any problems with going first, but that wouldn't stop him from teasing everyone else.

"Yes! I am a very scaredy-cat! We're more the support fighters, you're the heavy hitter!" Happy told Natsu.

Natsu nodded, and started to walk in. They then heard a loud roar, and the first member of the mating pair of Blizzardverns came flying out, slamming its head against a surprised Natsu, who yelped and went flying back. "Ack!" he grunted as he rolled.

"Open, Gate of the Archer!" Lucy shouted, and Summoned Sagittarius. Natsu shot to his feet, and stared up as the first Blizzardvern's mate also emerged.

"Okay, that was a cheap shot, let's get this party started!" Natsu declared, cracking his knuckles.
