Nope

Jenna lied, with a brief shake of her blonde head. "No, that was pretty much it for interesting characters."

She knew that David never liked to reminisce about high school anyways, since it had been such an unpleasant experience for him, except for when he'd started dating Jenna, of course. Tommy had played a large role in making his time there so bad, so Jenna doubted that reminding David of his existence and explaining that she'd spoken to him would do anything but make her boyfriend unhappy.

What her boyfriend didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

"Oh, that's a shame," he said, "let me know if you meet anyone else interesting."

"I will," Jenna nodded, whilst doing her best to covertly avoid eye contact, becoming suddenly engrossed in her plate again. Thankfully for her, David asked no further questions, and the conversation was allowed to move from the dangerous terrain that it had been standing on.

Soon, they did the dishes like normal, put their plates away, and settled down on the couch. Wrapped up in each others arms, they flicked through a couple of things on TV and half-watched a not very scary horror movie.

Jenna was almost falling asleep with her head in David's lap, when he picked up his phone and checked the time. Through bleary eyes Jenna saw that it was a few minutes past 7pm, which seemed to be the time that David had been looking for.

"Hey, babe?" He said, putting a hand on her shoulder and nudging her slightly in his lap.

"Mmm?" Jenna murmured, rolling on her back to look up at her boyfriend.

David met her eyes briefly before blushing and glancing away. His fingers on her shoulder began to tiptoe gently along her upper arm. "Last night," he gulped, "you mentioned something about showing me how a working girl does it?"

Jenna's face split into a grin, and she practically licked her lips as she looked up at her boyfriend.
