He gets his ass kicked, and kicked hard and fast.

"Don't go easy on me just because I'm your Master," Jaune told Pyrrha as they readied themselves.

"I wouldn't dream of it, Master. This will probably be short though, seeing as you only recovered a portion of your Aura from your soar with Yang," Pyrrha noted with a smirk.

Jaune proceeded to move towards Pyrrha, and swing his blade, only to be swiftly blocked, and she swung her own sword at his face, which he blocked on his shield quickly, and in the process, obscured his own vision, and as a result, failed to see the swift kick aimed at his side coming. The exchange of attacks and blocks that sent him sprawling on his side barely lasted two seconds.

He grunted as he hit the ground, and quickly rolled to his feet. Just in time too, as Pyrrha was already on him, her blade shifting into javelin form as she thrust it directly at his face. He again raised his shield to block, and once again prevented himself from seeing the shield strike aimed directly for his gut. While his armor took most of the blow, a chunk of his Aura was chipped away by it.

He skidded back, and aimed a frantic stab at her face as she pressed her advantage. She simply moved her head to the side, and stabbed her javelin at his shoulder. He grunted at the impact, his body **** to turn, and she then jabbed the edge of her shield right at the side of his head.

It impacted, and he was down again, too dazed to respond immediately, and when he recovered enough to turn, he found Pyrrha's blade pointed directly at his face, back in sword mode. "...damn, I knew I was going to lose, but I didn't even last a minute..." he pouted.

Pyrrha smiled, putting her weapon and shield back into their back holsters, and helped Jaune up. "Don't be too hard on yourself. Ruby only made you an intermediate level, I'm considerably higher than that," she told him. "Also, I used a rather useful tactic against shield users."

"...right, go for the face, and launch your real attack when their reflexes make them raise their shield to block... Cutting off their own line of sight to allow you to sneak in a free hit," Jaune realized.

"You got it," she chuckled. "It's a cheap trick, but very effective."

"I could tell," he groused playfully.

"Perhaps we should head back, and have a bit of fun, Master..." she purred sultrily.
