"We are in Brazil, Ms. Lavigne," Mark tells her as they get off the bus together, Avril leaving it to Mark's protests.

"I think you should stay on the bus Avril," he tells her, "this is a very crowded area and a lot could happen to a girl like you in a place like this."

Avril had already absentmindedly left the bus, walking in the general direction of where she had recently completed her one of her first shows in the country.

"The venue is that way, right?" she asks him as she begins walking in her grunge band t-shirt and blue jeans, taking off in that direction.

"Do be careful Ms. Lavigne," he tells her, Avril already out of earshot as she walks along the sidewalk to the site of her recently completed show.

She sees a throng of her male fans waiting for her and smiles at them, having just done a meet & greet with some of them.

She was just deciding whether to hang out with them or take a cab to her hotel when one of them tackles her to the ground.
