Start Of Day 8

Blake woke up, exhausted, frustrated, and uncomfortable. She was tired of the island, this game, her husband, and the challenges that degraded her in the end. Still she knew she couldn’t remain pissed off. So she decided to go on a walk and clear her head.

The sun was only just starting to rise up, and she saw Tom starting to stir.

Blake: I’m gonna forage a bit, hopefully get something good for breakfast.

She whispered into Tom’s ear before getting up and walking into the jungle. Blake walked further and further in. Until she was sure she was alone. She was about to scream in frustration when she had a sneaking suspicion. She stopped moving, closed her eyes, and just listened.

Blake: Okay Shane you can come out now.

And just then a bush rustled as Shane laughed a bit.

Shane: Wow, I thought I was being stealthy here.

Blake: Oh you were, I didn’t even know for sure you were there, but I just figured you’ve followed me every time I’ve gone out, so you probably followed me this time too.

Shane: Huh, guess I’ve become predictable. If I didn’t come out what would I have seen.

Blake realized she would’ve been making her frustrations clear to a man of the bull tribe. Which would’ve only made them more cocky.

Blake: Um… well you would’ve caught me foraging.

Shane: Foraging, at the crack of dawn… sure. You know if you want, you could come to my camp. we got plenty of food. Feel free to take some back for you n the white bois.

Blake: Thanks but that won’t be needed, the husbands are doing just fine on food.

Shane: Whatever you say, well if you don’t need food you could come by to use our shower if you want?

That was a proposition that made Blake pause. She has been bathing in fresh water stream. But an actual shower would feel amazing, surely there’s no harm in a little shower. But then again, she knew that nothing was free, that Shane would likely try something if she went.
