Piper's Hallmark Special

Over the next few months Piper and Miranda's friendship blossomed. Piper really had judged a book by it's cover and she felt guilty about how she'd dismissed Miranda as just another bimbo when they'd first met. Miranda might have big boobs and blonde hair but otherwise she doesn't fit the bimbo trope at all. No, Miranda is definitely, 100%, unabashedly, a pervert.

A nice pervert though. Piper was initially overwhelmed by Miranda's desire to use the camera, but once she got her to settle down and have some patience she realized that Miranda almost never acted maliciously. She just wanted to get her freak on without disappointing her extremely conservative parents. Being someone else gave her the chance to be free in a way she'd never imagined possible. She was free from her parents expectations, the expectations society had for her, even her own expectations for herself. Of course there was the potential harm to the reputation of the people she was copying, but despite Piper's fears Miranda really didn't do anything too ****.

Percy wasn't exactly thrilled with the frequency Piper and Miranda were using the camera. Initially he was there almost every time they used it, trying to act as their moral compass. Piper did listen to him, he really was a good guy, but over time he started showing up less and less. He might have been around more to complain but he'd actually started dating Amber and they were really hitting it off. Piper felt strangely protective of the camera and forbid Percy from telling Amber about it, which meant she was never invited when Piper brought it out. She knew she should make more of an effort to get to know her best friend's girlfriend, but as the days flew by she found herself seeing Percy less and less and getting closer and closer to Miranda.

Which is why as they were studying for exams Miranda's question didn't seem out of the blue, "Hey Piper...do you want to come stay with me for Christmas? You said your parents were going on a cruise right?"

Piper raised an eyebrow, "Oh. Uh, ya. That'd be fun actually. It'll be pretty boring at my parent's house until they get back."

Miranda smiled, and instantly Piper knew she was about to say something outrageous, "So..." Miranda opened her purse and pulled out a plastic bag. She slapped it down in front of Piper, "What do you think of him?"

Piper looked at the polaroid in the bag, "Uh...oh. You took his photo a few weeks back...at that party, right? Uh, he's alright. Why?"

"Well he's my boyfriend. The boyfriend I promised my parents is totally real and actually exists. The boyfriend I promised to bring him with me to introduce to them."

"He's your...wait..." Piper felt a headache coming on, "No. That's a terrible idea!"

"It's a fantastic idea! Listen my parent's love me, but deep down, they're assholes. They want me to settle down and marry a nice Christian, aka white, boy and have a dozen kids or something. They keep trying to set me up with this Chad from high school. Like inviting him to dinners and family events. My lie about a boyfriend worked and they promised not to invite him...if I brought Zeke along."

"Zeke...you could pick literally any name and you picked Zeke..."

"What's wrong with Zeke? I like it." Miranda pouted.

"Ok, fine. The name's not the problem. You want me to pretend to be your boyfriend...to your parents..."

Miranda nodded, then put her finger on her chin, "Or I suppose I could be Zeke and you could be me...but my parents would probably end up having you committed..."

"Ya. No thanks. No way. Not a fucking chance." Piper said vehemently.

So a week later, after finishing all their exams, Piper found her banging her head as she tried stepping off the train, "Ow! Fuck being tall!" She groaned as she rubbed her forehead.

"Wow Zeke, you are such a klutz!" Miranda giggled, extending a hand to help Piper down.

"Don't call me that." Piper grumbled.

"We have to get into character. They are picking us up after all. Look, there they are. Remember, you a fucking hunk of a guy. You like beer, football and muscle cars!"

"Right...and boobs. Should I feel you up in front of them to prove it?"

Miranda's face flushed, "Oh Zeke...behave!" She winked, "Maybe later."

"You pervert."

"Stop, let's go say hi. Remember, firm handshake."

Piper sighed and picked up their bags. At least getting 'Zeke's' body gave her his strength too. Some things really were easier as a man. As they got closer Miranda ran forward and threw her arms around her parents in a big hug. Piper overheard lots of nonsense greetings and then Miranda's father stepped forward, "Zeke is it..." He said gruffly, "Pleasure to meet you." He thrust out his hand.

Piper set the bags down and took his head, "Pleasure is all mine Sir."

"Sir...I like that. Well, let's get those bags in the car."

They loaded the car and then her dad insisted the 'Zeke' sit in the front. The ride to Miranda's house felt more like an interrogation than anything, but thankfully about halfway through her mom came to the rescue and told him to lay off. Piper sighed to herself, why the fuck had she agreed to this?
