A couple of announcements!

"Do you think we'll have a substitute for a bit?" Tooru was asking the class as they took their seats the following morning. "Aizawa-Sensei was hurt pretty bad..."

"And to make matters all the more unnerving, that Nomu woman is currently out guarding near the entrance," Iida mused, having seen her, standing somewhere out of the way, but clearly poised to attack any potential intruders. "I'm not sure I like it. While Midoriya seems to have control over her, the same could be said for her initial masters. What if she changes loyalties again?"

"They found the source of the original malfunction in her, and corrected it," Izuku assured Iida. Momo had indeed made the malfunction happen in a way that was easily obvious and corrected, ensuring Izuku would remain her primary controller. "There should be no risk of that happening against us down the line."

"Even so..." Iida hedged, but got no further as the door was thrown open, and Aizawa, wrapped in bandages, stepped into the room.

"Whoa, we got a substitute with a mummy Quirk!" Kaminari exclaimed, only to get hit upside the head by Jiro for his being a dumbass. "Ouch!"

"That's a bandaged up Aizawa, you bozo!" she huffed.

"Sensei, are you okay?" Izuku asked, cutting back the smartassery in light of Aizawa's condition.

"I'm well enough to teach still at least," Aizawa replied as he stood behind his desk, and said, "Before we start the class, I have two announcements to make. First, all students are to have at least one session with Hound Dog in light of the USJ incident. You have the week to schedule the appointment. This is absolutely mandatory to address any potential traumas you may have gained."

"Are you kidding me!? That's bullshit, I'm totally fine!" Bakugo roared in protest, forgetting not to swear, as per usual.

"That's up to Hound Dog to decide," Aizawa shut him down, while handing the swear jar to Momo, who brought it over to Bakugo, who snarled as he paid the fine. "As for the second announcement, we will be proceeding with the Sport's Festival in three weeks, as planned. Linking the two announcements, failure to get a clean bill of mental health from Hound Dog will bar your participation in the event."

That got several murmurs, Mineta even questioning if it was a good idea to still have the festival after what happened. But he was ultimately reassured by the knowledge of increased security. "By the way, Problem Child, credit where it is due, you handled yourself well during the incident, especially given your attempt to scare off the Villains at the start. Even though it failed, I do appreciate seeing more Heroes at least attempt a rational deception to prevent situations from becoming deadly," Aizawa noted.

Izuku blinked. Had Aizawa just praised him? He ended up shelving that for later as Aizawa started teaching again.
