As he finished up a familiar face enters the cafe, it's...
His rival Rich
The black neighbor with the big dick, Rich, strolls into the cafe with an air of confidence that John can't help but envy. Their eyes meet, and Rich's grin widens when he sees John behind the counter. "Well, well, look who's serving coffee now," he says, his voice dripping with amusement as he sit in a chair near the front of the cafe.
Holly looks the new guy over, her smirk fading as she sizes up the situation. She knows Rich from around the neighborhood, his reputation as a player and a flirt notorious even among the cafe's regulars. She gives John a quick wink before sauntering over to take Rich's order, she comes back after giving the young man his order. She went back to John.

He hangs out with Holly as Rich walks toward them. A smug look was upon his face as he looked at John with piercing eyes. He shakes hands and gives him a welcoming pat on the shoulder. He sat and sipped his coffee, making small talk with a curious Mrs. Paul.
"So, John, how do you like this job? Huh." The black guy said. "You know my dad could buy this place with the snap of his finger. I could literally shut it down without any problem. I wouldn't want my dad's money to go to waste. If I was to invest into this dump."
Mrs. Paul says, "I thought your father was more into tech. Why the sudden interest in a small cafe?"
"Yeah, he is. He's a brilliant mind in the world of technology. I got my trust fund money too. I just spend less time with him now since he is always busy. I could buy you out and have John fired or be the shop maid. And you too little minx." He talk towards Holly in an aggressively arrogance tone.
Holly fake a giggle, but her eyes flashed with something that was definitely not amusement. "Oh, I'm sure you'd do great at bossing people around, Rich. Maybe you could show us your skills," she replied, her voice sweet but laced with a challenge.
