NEW YEARS AUTHOR UPDATE/ROADMAP - 2025

Uh. Hey, gang!

First thing’s first – No. I’m not dead! But like everyone else in human existence, I have had a crazy 2024. My attention has been elsewhere and all over the place.

Second, I’m trapped inside my home due to weather conditions and working on the next half of the story…

…which is why I’m leaving this message.

I intended this to have a story with an ending; I even had diversions into alternate plotlines…and stories I could probably publish separately, and I may do so, but…

…when I say I wrote a lot, I knew I did, but I didn’t realize HOW MUCH that meant until I saved the entire first half of the story into a separate Word doc and opened the chapters I intend to edit and publish for this week.

I realize why people stop paying attention, but I’m happy for those who haven’t that have stuck with me. I may need to set up a Patreon for support because I need additional help. I write more than an AI…and loop just as easily.

So here’s the deal. I’ve written up to the most critical step of my plot…that’s the good news. The bad news…

…I have about 117 pages of content in front of it I’m editing atm – Did I mention I write A LOT. I need to create an omnibus. The Summaries got longer than I wanted trying to cram in details - bad habits die hard, and the Character Sheets Tracking Progression are in the works and have been for some time. I get how everyone gets lost. Pixie Said Years ago, when I started, I needed an editor. She’s still not wrong. The important thing is knowing your flaws and trying to fix them! (Forever in a time warp.)

I also am channeled into different things, and while I enjoy them, I find it easy to get lost.

I’m also looking for feedback again. If anyone wants to give it, leave a comment or DM. To fellow authors or friends I’ve made through this that I’ve dropped off the map with, shoot me a DM if you want, and I’ll tell you what’s been going on. Until then, if you guys want to see more, I realize this isn’t the traditional CHYOA Format of Story and More a…Novel-Length series at this point – Again. That was NOT Intentional. This is more a creative outlet for me.

So, for everyone, thanks for your patience, and for those I’ve spoken with, thanks for your support. And as a New Year’s Gift/Surprise. I’ve got a semi-gift? Yes. I’ve been dabbling in AI, too. So here are some samples.

(Yes, I’m aware they’re a WIP, still working on getting all the Negative Prompts and Polish right. I’ve been experimenting with a few different options. Most are mine, but there’s one I had commissioned by someone that’s a stand-in for Jess.)
