Even More Pillow Talk

Laying in bed with Lexi made your thoughts continue and your mind wander.

“What exactly should I be doing with myself?”

You said the words out loud, but had really intended them for no one. Still, Lexi decided to offer her two cents.

“You can do whatever you like.” She said as she laid exhausted at your side.

“I get that, but it’s hard to just think of a direction. Like, do I have responsibilities as a devil? Am I supposed to be claiming souls or something? Not really sure I’m down for that.”

Lexi turned and laid her upper body on you so she could look at your face. Her eyes had returned to their original red color.

“You get to decide what you do. It’s the benefit of your position. As for responsibilities, those should be obvious.” Lexi smiled.

You looked at her gorgeous face. She was disheveled now, but still beautiful.

“I suppose I do. I’ve got you, Morgana, and Lisbeth. We will probably be adding Cerena to the mix soon. We’ve also got to get prepared to move into a bigger space.”

“Not just that.” Lexi said with a smirk. She grabbed your hand and slid it down her midsection.

“You really think it worked that fast?” You said with a serious tone to your voice.

“I don’t know. You should prepare yourself though. It’s not like birth control is an option.” She said the last line with a bit of authority. She really did plan on getting pregnant as soon as possible. The thought of it made you both excited and nervous.

“I guess you’re right. We did make a contract.” Lexi got a subtle sad expression after your comment, and you realized you’d made a mistake.

“I didn’t mean that’s the only reason, Lex. It’s a bit daunting, the prospect of being a dad, but I do want it. It’s something that I wanted in my last marriage, but the timing never seemed right. I guess in hindsight, it was a good thing.”

You realized you were rambling and pulled yourself back in. Holding Lexi’s face in your hands, you gave her a smile.

“I do want to have kids with you. I didn’t make the contract just to fuck or enslave you. I made it because it was what I wanted. If I didn’t want to take responsibility, I wouldn’t have gone through with it. You know I’m not that kind of guy.”

Lexi perked up from the explanation and scrambled up your torso to plant a kiss on your lips.

“I love you, Asmodeus.”

You held back your natural cringe reaction in the face of her sincerity.

“I love you too, Lex.”

The loving feeling persisted for some time as you both laid in silence. You couldn’t help but chuckle to yourself.

“Things are changing really fast. It wasn’t that long ago that I was just wallowing in self pity. Now I’ve got this weird polyamorous relationship, we’re buying a new house, I’m a devil apparently, and I’m having discussions about kids with my aunt. The world really is crazy sometimes.”

“Sounds like things are looking up for you. You know, I’ve heard it said that sometimes we need to suffer to appreciate the good things that come to us.”

“I have you all to thank for everything. All those things I agonized about with Stephanie just seem so insignificant now. Like they were just bad dreams.”

“That’s normal. Sometimes, you just have to fight through the bull shit the best you can.”

You smiled at the little devil. It was in moments like these when you remembered that she was significantly older than you despite her appearance. Her wisdom and experience were really coming through.

“I have a devil related question.” You said, slightly changing the subject. Lexi looked at you, waiting for it with an excited twitch of her forked tail.

“How long am I going to live? I mean, I know you’ve been around for a long time. I was curious.”

Lexi looked at you with wider eyes. Apparently, she wasn’t expecting to be asked that.

“That’s a hard one. It’s possible you could never die of old age. Devils are functionally immortal. We can be killed, but age usually isn’t something that weakens us. Actually, we tend to get more powerful with age. We’ll have to see how being born the way you were will affect you. If I had to guess, I wouldn’t be surprised if you lived for hundreds or thousands of years.”

Now it was your turn to look surprised.

“I’m not sure I can even wrap my mind around that.”

“Pfft.” She snickered.

“I feel like myself though. I don’t feel like my mind has changed…except for being perpetually horny.”

Lexi giggled.

“I’m sure we can help with that part. You’re not alone anymore, Asmodeus. We will support you.”

“Thanks, Lexi. I feel like I’m going to be relying on you a lot.” You ruffled her hair playfully.
