Out? In public?

While putting the needle away in a "sharps" box.

Cerve : "I thought maybe you would like to get out of the house tonight. You have an hour before dinner and you're all done with your training for the day. It's important to get used to being outside as... Yourself."

You gulp. It was one thing to get dressed up in the privacy of your home but going out in public? And another thing

Alexis : "What about my voice?"

You say, reaching for an excuse to put off the scary prospect.

Cerve : "you don't need to talk to anyone. Just go for a walk in the Park. The fresh air is good for you and you need to get comfortable being seen."

You gulp. It was still scary but a walk through the park couldn't be that bad.

Alexis : "ok..."

You manage to squeak out. You look down at yourself, the yellow sun dress that felt so nice a moment ago suddenly felt ridiculous. People would see right through your ruse.

Alexis : "are you sure? Won't people be able to tell...?"

Cerve : "Tell what? That you're a pretty girl? I promise you it will be fine."
