Into the Ruins

Heinkel stirred awake, today is the second day at mount Greycloud. From the information Lina provided, they were searching for a route into the ruin of the Greybeards, no luck so far as they began surveying the mountain. A number of entrance were lost to time, buried by nature, or intentionally destroyed. Rubbing his eyes, Heinkel got up and got dress or he was planning to as Kate who was sleeping beside him also stirred.

"It's morning already huh," Kate said pretending to be disappointed that they need to be up. Kate and Arianne serviced Heinkel together last night. Arianne must have slipped out sometime during the night to keep watch with Lina.

The party soon break camp and continue to scour the mountain for another possible entrance to the destination. By noon, the group stumbled upon an unnatural cave, a possible path.

"I will be in front, Kate and Lina behind me, Arianne will guard our rear," Heinkel organized the party as they descended into the cave. Soon the path smooth out, as if build by hands and not nature. The party soon found themselves in front of a ruined gate, half crumble, piled up with debris. Beyond it, a vast hall stretch endlessly into the darkness.

"Well, looks like we found the location, let's see if there are any traces left of the caravan we are looking for," Lina commented as they step through the gate. They hall or rather formerly a main road soon have many splits and side passages. The party navigated carefully, searching for where a trading caravan could have been housed.

"We should rest, it would do us no good to stumble around exhausted," Heinkel finally urge the party after what seem to be many hours. Fatigue was setting in, the city of the Greybeards was smaller than Whitefall but it was no means easy and quick to search through it.
