Uncomfortable

"Sorry if this is a bit uncomfortable." Captain Marvel said as she held David. After ten minutes of flying it was the first thing she had said.

"The bridal carry is easier on the body then grabbing you under the armpits and letting your body hang down like a dead weight. And having you sit on my back is a bit risky as the only thing keeping you on is your own grip strength." Captain Marvel explained.

"But, hey, at least this is way easier to talk to one another." Captain Marvel smiled, "Anything you want to talk about?"

"Ummm." David's voice trembled. He spared a look down at the ground that had to be a mile below them. They were up way too high and going way to fast. But he couldnt complain, these heroes were going out of their way to help him as quickly as they could. He shut his eyes to take his mind off of flying. The nervous feeling felt like it was helping the power build.

"Storm." Captain Marvel greeted the other hero as she flew closer.

"Captain, I called the X-men on the communicator. We have a slight problem. Professor Xavier is away at the moment."

David felt the power surge as his anxiety grew. He couldnt explain what he saw, what he knew was different, if he couldnt share what he saw. What was he going to do? He could feel the power bubbling away inside him, getting ready to wildly burst out of him unchecked. What was going to be different this time? And who would notice if there wasnt a telepath to see it thru his eyes?

"Sh- oot." Captain Marvel muttered, obviously substituting for the curse word she wanted.

"Fortunately we have two telepaths at the mansion at the moment." Storm smiled. "Jean Grey and Emma Frost are both willing to help."

"The red head?" David remembered her in a tight green dress and then the other name was- "The naked one?" David yelped, "They are going to help me?" He felt his power discharge out of him.

Looking around in a frenzy to spot what had changed David found nothing. To his amazement Storm and Captain Marvel seemed the same. Both were ridiculously over sexualized but nothing new seemed to have changed about them. Both were chuckling and regarding him with smiles.

"Yes. The naked one." Captain Marvel chuckled.

"She is not always naked." Storm shook her head. "Emma is frequently clothed, you know."

"Just not always." Captain Marvel laughed. "And when she does wear clothes they arent much in the way of coverage."

"She is... proud of her body." Storm said with some hesitation. "She does dress provocatively."

"I've known strippers with a more conservative dress sense." Captain Marvel snorted. "They at least wore pasties when they go topless."

When she saw David giving her a disbelieving look she shook her head, "I used to be in the air ****, remember? The guys I was in with tried to shock me by taking me out to a strip club a couple of times. Like that was going to happen."

"She goes topless?" David wondered.

"Not always." Storm answered. "But, yes, she does."

"Maybe Jean is the better choice here." Captain Marvel glanced from David to Storm. Implying the young man might have a problem with the overtly sexy Emma Frost.

"I'll make sure Jean isnt wearing her traditional costume." Storm flew aside from them as she picked up her X-men communicator and brought it to her face.

"Her traditional costume?" David asked.

"A skin tight little green micro mini dress with a plunging neck line that Jean almost falls out of if she leans forward." Captain Marvel answered with humor, "She grew out of it years ago. Seriously, she wore it when she was 18, for God's sake. But since Emma showed up with her next to nothing approach to costuming Jean's been... well, a little competitive."

David had a sinking feeling about what might have changed. He felt icy fear grip him as he realized the two telepaths that he would have to bare his soul to, were the two women his power maybe just changed.
