You dropped it into the sewer drain...

Walking out of the mall after finishing your shopping, you held the canister of this supposed "wishing powder" in your hands. You started to read the label of it, wondering if you had just gotten duped when you tripped on the curb. Though you managed to catch yourself and the other bags of stuff you had bought, the canister flew right out of your hand with the lid popping off as it landed and began rolling... right into the sewers. You quickly reached out to catch it, but you weren't fast enough. The can rolled right into the drain, and you heard it rattle and tumble as the powder dumped out all the way down. You wondered for a moment just how much powder was in it because it seemed like a lot more than what the can would have actually held, but you shrugged it off as your imagination.

You kicked your feet at your clumsiness, but the idea that you had been duped had already cemented itself into your head. A wishing powder that could grant you anything? Yeah, right. Life isn't that easy. You shook your head at being dumb enough to fall for it and now having wasted $25. Getting back to your car, you put away your things before driving back home, forgetting all about what you had just done. As the bottomless can of wishing powder drifted along the sewer drains, its endless contents mixed with the city water.

You had no idea what you had just done... but things were about to get interesting.
