Susie accused!

"Well, well, well," said Anne, cornering Susie in the Pinkwhistle girls' locker room. "If it isn't our little traitor."

"I have no idea what you're talking about," said Susie, pulling her towel more tightly around herself. She'd just gotten out of the shower, and she didn't have any clothes on. Not a position to inspire feelings of confidence.

"There's no use lying, Susie. We know you're working with Greenvalley."

"Why would I do that?"

"Because you're a lesbian, obviously. You actually like seeing other girls run around naked in public."

"Nonsense. I'm not a lesbian! And I'm definitely not in love with Bonnie! And even if I was, I'd be a Pinkwhistle lesbian. I'd never betray Greenvalley."

"Give it up," said Anne. "Vicky told us she saw you in a secret meeting with the head of the Greenvalley cheerleader team. And we found this contract in your locker." She held a piece of paper up for Susie to see. It read, "I, Susie Snook, hereby agree to betray Pinkwhistle, because I am a naughty little lesbian."

"But that's obviously a fake! Vicky must be the lesbian! I mean, the spy!"

"There's no way. We tickled her for ages. She would have confessed."

"Well, I was sitting on her face," said Monique, thoughtfully, but Anne raised a hand for silence. "Susie's the spy," she said. "It's settled."

"But it's obviously Vicky," wailed Susie. Anne put a hand over her mouth and said "So what do we do with spies?"

There was a long silence.

"Punish them, of course. Do I have to think of everything around here?"
