“Looks like the votes are wrapping up…” Jack said, the air in the studio was thick with anticipation, “And Sad Sap won with an unprecedented landslide and our first round without a tie! seems like the audience is matching your energy and you’ll keep your gloomy attitude. Let’s fire up the Collar of Fate!”

The crowd cheered as Summer felt the collar buzz against her neck, a fog spreading through her head once again as her throat tingled, permanently changing her voice once again.

“How do you feel?” Jack asked.

“How do you think I feel? I’m going to be permanently pissy for the rest of my life.” She responded in a snarky tone.

“Well, folks I have to say I don’t think I can tell a difference from before” Jack commented snidely, earning another round of laughter from the crowd. “Why don’t we move one, what do you say Summer?”

“Sure, I guess” Summer said quietly.

“You know what? I think Summer is too cheery of a name for you, what do you say we change that up?” Jack said with a grin.

The audience cheered and Summer sat there quietly. “How does Aurora sound?” Jack asked the audience, and they went into a frenzy. The collar activated for barely a second and she almost blacked out as the fog rolled in, way more intense than the previous times. As she blinked away the dizziness, she saw Jack in front of her trying to get her attention.

“Hey… You there Aurora?”

“Yeah, I’m fine Jack, get out of my face.” She snapped.

“Then go ahead and pick your next case! The audience is waiting.”

“I guess I’ll do number 14” Aurora said absentmindedly, once again wishing for a cigarette, she could almost feel her intelligence slowly slipping away. She tried to remember the classes she had taken in high school, but she could barely recall what she learned in them.

“Seems like your luck has run out, yet another bimbo case, this one is Fetish!” Jack cheered. “The options are Bare back, Degradation, Latex and Bound Up. Plenty of fun options for our new goth bimbo so get those votes in!”

“Now Aurora do you have any hopes with this category?” he asked with fake intrigue.

“Not really, I like to be tied up already so that would be boring.” She said with a yawn and eye roll.
