Get back up.

You pull yourself up. Looking to the left and right, you can see that Trin and Jelly are fine and already getting back on their feet. The dogs are as well. Everyone is dripping wet, but you're definitely in a brand new room, and one much larger than before. The ceiling is a couple storeys up, and the room is both wide and long with grass covering most of the floor. A gorgeous chandelier hangs from above and casts a beacon of light down to the center of the room. Because of your magical vision, it's the only spot with any colour other than shades of green, making it easier to see the red flower growing between the blades of green.

Just past the grass are four columns near the corners of the room. Past that, it looks as if there should be doors somewhere, but the walls are just empty and flat instead.

Something else is wrong, however. You feel dizzy. The air feels thick. Around you, the walls are stained black. When you look forwards, you see a huge, familiar, crimson gaze. A hulking golem of dark flesh is engaged in battle on the opposite end of the room with a young man garbed in white. The Dungeon Core is here, and it's fighting William.

His clothing is torn, there are wounds on his face, and he grasps his left arm tight as if nursing an injury. However, his opponent doesn't look great either. You can tell a number of slashes have cut into its body, and it's currently trying to regain its footing, presumably after an ****.

"Kyle!" William shouts, though his eyes quickly return to the Dungeon Core. "I don't know if you did something just now, but it created the perfect opening to strike."

Trin hurries forwards. "William!" she cries. But then she plants her foot firmly onto the ground and thrusts forward her flute. "Go, hounds. Help him!"

"Be careful," he warns. "Don't let the laser beam hit you."

Speaking of which, the creature's massive eye illuminates with a glow you've seen before. The energy hums as it builds, but instead of firing at William, it turns towards the newcomers and sends out a devastating blast. The beam collides directly with one of the screech hounds, and then both the others, as all three vanish from view. It comes towards the rest of you. Trin leaps out of the way, and you tackle Jelly down the other way.

You splash down in a puddle atop the bouncy girl.

She giggles, not hurt in the slightest. "You should land on me more often. I can soften the blow!" she says with glee.

"Just promise you won't get hit by that laser," you say.

"I won't!"

You stand back and ready your blade. The metal glows pink, illuminating the area around you. You look around yourself to see that the flood you brought really made a mess of the room. There are numerous other puddles, and the courtyard is soaked. Maybe that'll be good for the flowers. "You got really wet there, Dungeon. Someone's gonna slip."

The Dungeon Core slams its foot down and continues to face you, but that only opens it easily to a strike from the side. William leaps forward and grasps his sword with both hands before thrusting it deep into the size of the beast.

Next, you dart forwards. The moment it tries to face its other opponent, you deliver a series of three swift slices across its lower body. You leap a few steps back, preparing yourself for what it does next. Now it faces both you and Willian in tandem--two Demon Kings with similar moves, though you do wonder what William is truly capable of, and he's likely thinking the same thing.

"Trin is hurt," he mutters. But after a pause, he readjusts his glasses. "Take the flank. It stands no chance against both of us."

You shift away to stand behind the creature, causing it confusion on which way to face. "Avoid the beam and slice it to bits. Got it."
