Yes, maybe, no

This chapter will be a bit chaotic in places. I am going to try and keep Robb the main focus as the others around him will be keeping him from just drifting along. He likes to analyze before acting which what the others do not allow him to do.

*KNOCK, KNOCK* Ellen cracks her son door enough for him to hear her, "Robb, hun, you need to get up. You have less than 30 minutes to get some food before your dad is home and he wants to see you before the party starts."

A groaning, "Ok, mom," with sound of leg or arm hitting the floor answers her.

"I will be back with my bucket of water in 15 minutes to check." Ellen chimes at Robb but she knows he will move now. Ness hates to get out of bed until she is awake so Ellen had to find a way to get Ness awake to not always be late. It is amazing what dripping water on a semi-conscious body will do. Ellen is not sadistic but she can't help but enjoy the power trip as it requires no pain.

Robb is tired just because his body is still sore from the trip but moving around will help that as he found over the past week. He stumbles to the bathroom to remember he needs to go out to the van for his stuff. He stumbles around to finally get out to the van and remember he left the key. By the time Robb has finished in the bathroom with grooming that stops his mother from fussing with him, it has been a bit and he hears as he heads to his bedroom to change, "Robb," being boomed through the house by his dad.

"Almost changed," yells Robb down the hall. He closes the door and has pulled up his pants when there is a knock on the door. "Yeah?" asks Robb.

"Are you dressed?" Dad asks while starting to open the door.

"Yeah, dad. Is everything ok? I don't ever remember a time when you came to my room though never really had the space either," with a worried chuckle.

"No, nothing is wrong. Just wanted to speak with you as you are now an adult. Might not be able to drink legally," starts his dad before Robb stops him.

"NOPE!!!" comes a forceful response.

His dad shakes his head and smirks, "I think you might change your mind," and gets interrupted again.

"NO! Not only no but no and no again. I don't like the taste and you know after Parker and what she did to Ness that **** are not happening. If that is what the talk is about then I prefer not to have it." Robb angrily tells his dad.

"Ok, just calm down. That is not why I am here and I was just trying to have a talk with you as I have not been able to through high school. I will drop that part. I wanted to talk about you not having a plan. Your mom was wanting to continue what you were doing with the Williams after talking with Jane. I am going to tell you that I don't feel right about that after the past 5 years so will give you to the end of the year as a break for you. Ellen is worried though," Robb's dad appears thoughtful as he speaks, "that you will be lazy and bum around the house. The deal I made with her is that you will dishes after dinner and be outside the house for 8 hours a week interacting with others. Desmona already agreed to help with that unless you decide to get a job to save money though your mom would be happy if you still did the dishes. Have you thought about what you are doing?"

"Not really," sighs Robb as he sits on his bed. "I am thinking of trying streaming for a bit to at least understand it with my new computer which," says as he gets up to hug his dad," thank you very much. I played around with it before sleeping and looked up the cost. The monitor cost more than the computer I left with Angel."

His dad hugs back and says as he holds Robb at arms length, "You didn't get much for 5 years from us and that was part of a bonus from Arnold for selling a troublesome property. What kind of job can a high school kid get with a streaming service? Did you pick up some killer programming skills or something during high school?"

"No, not get a JOB job but stream from my computer."

"What can you stream from your computer?"

"Games," Robb retorts with a bit of anger.

"Did you make some games to stream?" Dad says but his lips can't stay with the confused look he is trying to give Robb and start cracking a smile.

Robb sees this and asks while feeling foolish, "You were just pretending you didn't know? Do you watch streams?"

Dad gives a chuckle and informs Robb that Arnold (he is my boss) has a daughter who streams and Arnold told him about it after asking Arnold what he was watching. His dad says Arnold gave him an hour long primer on streaming over lunch. Arnold is hoping his daughter will become a star.

"Are you trying to be a star or what?" Dad asks.

"Not unless I get lucky. I just want to know about it as think I will take some media courses and maybe something that might work for agent or manager. Just don't think I could be a writer and gaming is my other passion," Robb states.

They spend a bit more time talking about that before moving to getting to know what each has been up to in the last 5 years as neither enjoys being on a phone so really had only really talked when it was something important.

Mom sticks her head in the door and tells them that they need to come downstairs as Mona texted that she would be there soon with her friends but Robb notices that evil glint in her eye again.

Robb follows his mom and dad to the living room and as they get there, he hears, "Whatcha doing, nerd?"

"Angel?" Robb stops in shock and mouth open as his parents move out of way for him to see Angel standing there.

"Glad to know my beauty has stunned you to silence. Remember this," Angel says gleefully and sticks out her tongue showing of a tongue ring.

"You got your tongue pierced? When? Why?" Robb finds his voice after seeing that. His mind is wondering what is going on and just letting whatever crosses his mind to come out his mouth.

"Why are you here? Is this the surprise as I do not like it. I would have preferred to know you were visiting. You know I hate surprises. Mom, why did you do this? How long are you here? Did you fly? When did you get here?" Robb is going to keep going but his dad steps up and grabs him.

"Robb, slow down. Breathe," his dad tells him and starts doing deep breathes.

Robb closes his eyes and starts doing the breathing exercise to calm his racing mind as his mom hugs him from behind and tells him, "Angel is going to school here in the fall and is going to live with us. Doesn't this make you happy? Do you really hate this surprise?"

Robb says, "Yes. Why did it have to be a surprise?"

Angel jumps in, "I wanted to be your surprise gift for turning 18." She strikes a bad seductive pose that has Robb's dad laugh.

Robb doesn't respond so Angel comes up to him and grabs his hand with both of hers and asks, "Is it really that bad that I didn't tell you?" She uses her puppy eyes and pout.

"Maybe because you know I do not like surprises."

"You don't want me here?"

"You know that I did not say that," Robb says as Angel flusters him with how she is rubbing his hand. He hasn't noticed his parents gave each other a look and moved towards the dining room.

"Am I that horrible of a surprise? Are you not happy to see me in person rather than me video calling you in a couple of hours? I am going to be living with you again. So I ask again if you really hate this surprise?" Angel questions Robb while still keeping up the puppy eyes and pout.

"No, I do not hate this surprise but I do not like it," Robb states while trying to step back from Angel.

"HEY. ROBBIE!!! I want to introduce... Why the fuck is she here?" pulls Robb's and Angel's heads to the entryway to see Demon there with a scowl on her face.
