Do you want to see my toys?

I gasped in horror at my outburst, maybe I had drank more wine than I thought. But to my utter surprise and ultimate relief, my mother started laughing. "Something you know a lot about, I assume? Toys, I mean." She out her empty wine glass down, and I was suddenly aware I had finished mine as well. Mom took my glass and gave us both a healthy pour, which I accepted eagerly.

"Well, um," I was blushing even more furiously now. What daughter, however estranged, would ever want to talk about sex toys with their mother. "I know a bit, I suppose."

Mom scooted closer to me on the couch. "Rabbits, and wands, and maybe a strap?"

I balked, not believing the words coming out of this woman's mouth. It was like an unholy crossover. Two things which never should have met. Before I could respond, she laughed at my embarrassment. "Believe it or not, honey, sex toys have been around since long before either of us."

"Oh," was all I could say.

Mom kept talking, though, clearly flushed as well. Seems like I got my tolerance from her. "I bet I have some things you've never seen before."

"Oh?" Now my interest was piqued. Even if it was my mom's toys, it could give me some new ideas. I had to know. "Like what?"

Mom got up, straightening her clothes. "I guess you'll just have to come see." And she left for her bedroom. So the only question now was, should I follow her?
