Long Dress → Harem Outfit

Well, whatever. In the same vein as putting her in clothes she'd never get caught dead wearing as the strong(-minded), independent (and opinionated) woman she is... Let's mess with her clothes a bit more directly and replace 'Long Dress' with 'Harem Outfit.'

The scene shifts quite a bit. It's clearly still daylight, but it looks like I either have a storage shed in my unit now or a neighbor across the way. The wood decking's been replaced with some kind of tiles too, I think.

But that's all small potatos compared to mom, who has turned around.

She's still wearing a dress and, if anything, it probably covers more up but the entire aesthetic and style seems to have come straight out of... Well, I honestly don't know. I want to say India? Maybe Latin America? I... honestly don't know. I feel like there's a lot of places that might have clothes matching the general style.

Regardless, it's not... immodest or particularly strange apparel at all, the dog-collar aside. It's absolutely the sort of thing she'd wear normally if, y'know, that was the style or cultural heritage she was pulling from.

Now, despite this, the clothes are daramatically different - visually. Mom's skirt is a vibrant red with a white underlayer. Her top - a pastel purple that matches her hair - is tucked into the skirt and now has intricate golden trimming, and she's wearing a necklace with a gold clasp around the dog collar which is... an amusing juxtaposition, admittedly.

. . . also I have never seen Mom give puppy dog eyes before, let alone a set quite that... despondent. Looking at them, I honestly feel a little bad. Should I maybe do something nice, try to fix what I've changed... or just stop here? Or I could just replace that uncomfortably earnest disappointment with something more palatable, and keep playing around...

...I'd probably still feel a little bad though. What should I do?
