Hop!

You. Eva. Amara. Niki. Snow. Lalarin. Each one of you, garbed and armed, with the latter dressed in skin-tight green spandex as she often does--a heroine's suit of bright, shiny green, black and white trim, with a thin cut from her collar down to her belly button, and a cut around each upper thighs. Eva, of course, is dressed in her tiny blouse and miniskirt. Amara wears her lovely white dress with a cute cap atop her head. Niki protects herself with a breastplate as well as small pieces of armour elsewhere, though she likely hardly needs any of it. Snow, as always, stands in a fusion between a ninja's garb and a one piece swimsuit.

Hand-in-hand, huddled together, you all squat down and prepare for a group liftoff. You feel the weight of all five others upon your shoulders as you focus on the world bending around you. In your mind, you repeat your destination. Between Wolvenhood and Tolis, west of the road, edge of the Endless Wilds. Then after your lung expand with a long, deep inhale, you let out a grunt as you throw yourself as well as all the others into the air. Space stretches and warps around you, and in a matter of moments, you arrive.

Thud! While you don't appear high in the sky, the ground comes sooner than you expect. You squat low as the impact shoots up your legs. Eva beside you rolls onto her bum. Niki, however, keeps sturdy, and grabs hold of Amara next to her just before she can fall. Snow brings a hand down and perches steady. Lastly, RF remains up on her long, powerful legs, with little difficulty as a high level monk.

But you're here. At least, near the woods. You can see the trees hardly ten minutes ahead of you. That means that somewhere in the opposite direction, ten or more miles back, should be the road between Tolis and Wolvenhood--the border between the Tivera Empire and the Varat Kingdom. This is the farthest north you've travelled so far.

There are even more hills here than between Tolis and Avana. The rolling plains poke up with stones and are lush with tall grass and thin trees. To one direction, far in the distance, you can make out the peaks of mountains. It must be the end of the Western Pecho Peaks. On the other side of that mountain is likely the Cackling Woods. With a nod, you feel confident about your position. This was as close as you could have hoped to land. Mission accomplished. Any closer, and you could have been seriously injured falling through the dense canopy of the thickest, widest forest you've seen in Abso.

With ease, Snow scales a nearby, smaller tree, and peers off from the top. She bends forwards--creamy pale thighs contrasting starkly against her jet black bodysuit, wedged between her legs. Her fluffy tail stands up straight as she poses perfectly still, like a hunting predator. Slung over her back is an absolutely stunning silver bow, which she of course nicked from Anyana the anglermaid. "There are people ahead," she speaks down towards the group. "Two, and a dog. At the forest's edge."

"Hmm." Rabbit's Foot shifts her gaze behind the mask around her eyes as her tall ears twitch. "I think I hear them."

"We have no reason to believe they would be our enemies, especially with us still so far from our destination," Amara explains. She steps forwards, nudging away the foliage with the end of her silver staff.

"There's an equal chance they're from Tivera or Varat," Eva says.

"Is there a problem if they're from Varat?" you ask.

"Not necessarily. We aren't at war or anything. But their entire kingdom is run by the Church of Lasis, and their rules are super strict. It's a pretty oppressive place if you ask me."

Snow hops down from the tree and prowls forward. "I'll stay a distance away. If they turn out to be hostile, simply give a sign, and I'll end them before they can even reach you."

"Ohoho, scary!" Niki laughs. "That sounds good to me. C'mon, crew. Might as well go say hello." She then stomps ahead of Amara, clearing away the tall grass in her wake.

RF withdraws the rod from her side. She whips it to the side, and it instantly extends to the length of her body. As if to warm up, she spins it easily around herself before jabbing it into the grassy soil beside her feet. "And if they're in trouble, maybe we can aid them. I might live at Castle Phoenix now, but at my core, I'm still a super heroine, Kyle. If people are in need it's a hero's job to help."

As silly as the outfit may look, she is nonetheless beautiful, and exudes an aura of heroism. Her brunette hair is thick and curls at her shoulders, and it shines beneath the light of the sun above. The suit she wears leaves little to the imagination. Every curve of her body is bound tight by spandex, and the cut down the front may be thin, but it's enough to tease the tight squeeze of her inner cleavage.

"Right then." You nod. "I'll lead the way with Niki. Lala, you stay in the middle. Eva and Amara, behind her. Snow, you wait in the shadows."
