Post-vision cuddles

Vel came to facing Adi, who was crying a few silent tears of joy. Before he could say anything, she pulled him into a tight embrace, kissing him full on the mouth and shoving her tongue down his throat. He felt the intensity of her emotions through their bond as well as her actions, it was borderline concerning. He did his best to return the kiss and the embrace, allowing his twin to work out her passion.

When she finally let him go and they broke the kiss she let out a laugh that was half a sob. “Finally! Finally, I got to join you in one of those!” Ah, that made sense. Adi hadn’t been there for the first vision of Adelicia, and by now Lynn had joined two visions and Rose one. He knew his twin and was sure she didn’t begrudge them that, but it was understandable that she craved it as well. Especially as she was usually Vel’s first in everything.

Vel cupped his sister’s cheek. “I am glad we got to share that, my love. Isn’t our daughter going to be gorgeous?” Adi, still shedding a few tears, nodded. “Oh gods, Vel, I wasn’t prepared. You showed her to me back when you first saw her, but actually seeing her myself…” She trailed off, not finding the words, but Vel understood.

They lapsed into silence for a bit, then Adi’s face scrunched up in thought. “When do you think that was, how far in the future?” Before he speculated with her, there was one important thing that needed clarification. “Potential future. I want to make sure it happens, but it is not yet guaranteed.” His sister’s expression hardened. “Oh, it will happen.” He felt her determination through their link, she was quite serious. “Considering Licia was pregnant with my child for the second time, it was definitely after my first vision of her. At that time, she was carrying our first daughter.” Adi’s eyebrows rose. “You sure it’s the second one?” Vel nodded. “Yes, I knew it in the vision.” That seemed to remind Adi of something. “Oh, I knew something too, she was 20 years old!” That certainly helped. “So, it’s over 20 years in the future, and about 2 years after my first vision.” Adi grinned. “20 years from now and you’re still putting babies in me, I really am the luckiest girl ever.”

They stayed like that for a long time, loosely holding each other and talking about the vision, about what a good girl their little Licia would be. “The way she kissed your foot, Vel, with all the reverence you deserve. It was beautiful to see.” She touched her stomach with one hand. “I am already so proud of you, Baby.” Foot… Something about that irked Vel, like there was something he should have picked up on but didn’t. Suddenly, it clicked. “I had two normal feet in that vision… And two normal legs!” Adi’s mouth dropped open. “Hells, yes you did!” He thought back to his other visions. “I think I’ve had intact legs in every single vision, but I never realized it. This is the first one where any focus was pulled to them.” Adi’s eyes were wide. “What does that mean? Will you magically change your leg someday?” Vel shrugged. “Me fixing it with my powers does seem like the most likely explanation.” His twin’s expression darkened. “Change, not fix. No part of you needs fixing.” He chuckled. “Fine, me changing it does seem the most likely explanation.” That seemed to mollify his sister. “Better.”

They lapsed back into silence again, until Adi posed yet another good question. “What do you think brought on this vision, and what do you think it means? So far, they’ve come because you knocked someone up or while you slept, right?” Vel nodded. “True, so far that has been the case, but my powers are still growing and changing. I don’t think we need to read too much into it, I certainly didn’t just get you double pregnant.” She smiled at him. “If anyone could do that, it would be you.”
