Not long later

Not that long after, the door opens again.

Looking over, Ethan sees Charlie walking in.

She's changed out of her work clothes, wearing a loose T-shirt and jeans now, and her hair seems different. Ethan guesses, correctly, she must have just had a shower. Looking around, Charlie spots the three of them at the table. She looks confused as she makes her way over.

"Heya... she looks between the three of them, "Well this kinda fucking surreal."

Ashley scoffs lightly. "Is it really so weird your friend can also be my friend?" She looks over at Ethan, giving him a {if Ashley=true}knowing look{endif}{if Ashley =false}flat look{endif}.

"Eh," Charlie shrugs, "I need to borrow Ethan for a minute."

"Oh?" Sam gives Charlie a very suspicious look. "Are the two of you keeping secrets now?"

Sighing, Charlie rubs her brow. "No. We'll just be a few minutes. Ethan?" She nods towards a vacant table not far away, starting towards it.

Rising up, Ethan gives Sam and Ashley small nods, then follows Charlie over to the table. As the pair of them sit, Charlie lets out a deep sigh. "Weird seeing you with them."

"Is it?" Ethan glances back too the pair of women, both of them looking over in kind.

"Yeah..." Charlie shrugs, "Me and Ash don't have a lot of friendship overlaps. Sam almost counts on a good day, but..." she lets out a sigh, "Anyway, where were we?"
