Ruby gets dressed...but not for long

The white light changed to a yellow hue, and it took Ruby a few moments to realise that it was the sun. Looking around, she saw that she was back at the resort, lying on the sunlounger as though she hadn't been away.

With a jolt, Ruby remembered her nudity. Twisting around, the teenager located her bikini and hastily pulled it on.

Suitably dressed again, Ruby lay back down on the sunlounger, covered her face, and laughed. In hindsight, there were far worse places she could have been snatched from. She would have died of embarrassment if she had been dropped back into a busy city without a stitch of clothing on her! Even though she had been asleep for the last seven hundred years, Ruby felt exhausted! Shuffling herself into a more comfortable posture, she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep, waiting for the Doctor to make a re-appearance...

"You shouldn't be wearing that."

Ruby looked around groggily as someone shook her awake.

"W-what?"

"Your bathing suit. It's against the rules."

"Oh! I have this-"

Ruby held up her wrist...only to belatedly realise that she hadn't donned her bracelet when she'd returned!

"Where is it?" Ruby asked, sitting up and looking around desperately. "You don't understand, I'm allowed to wear this!" She was kneeling on the lounger, trying to will the bracelet back into existence, but her only protection from complete nudity was nowhere to be found.

She yelped as a pair of hands delicately untied her bikini top and slipped it off her slender shoulders.

"No, wait!"

Ruby made a grab for the garment as it was removed, but this change of posture only made it easier for her Good Samaritan to slip her bottoms off her hips and down her thighs. The Brit twisted and tried to wriggle free, but only succeeded in allowing her swimsuit to move past her knees. Unbalanced, she fell backwards off the lounger, winding herself as she fell onto the tiles. She kicked her legs, but couldn't stop the white fabric from being guided over her bare ankles and feet.

"Give it back!" Ruby cried, staggering to her feet as one arm was slapped across her chest.

But satisfied that the young girl was now appropriately dressed, the fellow holidaymaker had wandered off.

Ruby quickly sat back down on the lounger, folded her knees up to her chest, and hugged herself tightly.

"Come on, come on!" she muttered.

Where was the Doctor? He said he'd come for her, but instead, he'd abandoned her...naked!
