"Naturally, their social structure has evolved alongside their biology. I am truly fascinated by them; there is no exact parallel anywhere in the universe as we know it."

I pause, tapping my fingers on the desk, lost in thought.

"I wonder what it's like. To have one's anatomy suddenly come to life and demand one's body. To be... reduced to just an organ. I'm ashamed to admit this, but... I am very envious of them."

I lean back, staring at the ceiling, imagining the transformation.

"If I could determine exactly where this power comes from, or what sort of genetic instructions allow for this, then I could better understand them. Maybe even gather enough evidence to necessitate meeting them."

I sit up again, feeling a surge of determination. "I'll be back shortly with better data," I say, the excitement clear in my voice. "Signing off."
